The New Seven Wonders of the World were chosen in 2007 through a global poll organized by the New7Wonders Foundation. Heres the list: Great Wall of China (China) - A series of fortifications built over centuries to protect China from invasions. - Stretches over 13,000 miles (21,196 km). Petra (Jordan) - An ancient Nabatean city carved into pink sandstone cliffs. - Famous for Al-Khazneh (The Treasury). Christ the Redeemer (Brazil) - A 98-ft (30-m) tall statue of Jesus overlooking Rio de Janeiro. - Built in 1931 on Mount Corcovado. Machu Picchu (Peru) - A 15th-century Inca citadel hidden in the Andes Mountains. - Known as the "Lost City of the Incas." Chichen Itza (Mexico) - A Maya city with the famous El Castillo (Temple of Kukulcán). - Features astronomical alignments during equinoxes. Roman Colosseum (Italy) - A 1st-century amphitheater used for gladiator battles. - Could hold 50,00080,000 spectators. Taj Mahal (India) - A white marble mausoleum built by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. - Completed in 1653 in Agra. Honorary Mention: - The Great Pyramid of Giza (Egypt) was originally part of the list but was granted honorary status as the only surviving Ancient Wonder. The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
