new world artifacts
"New World artifacts" typically refer to objects, tools, artworks, and other items created by the indigenous cultures of the Americas (the "New World" from a European perspective) before and after European contact. These artifacts provide valuable insights into the civilizations of the Aztecs, Maya, Inca, Olmec, Mississippian cultures, and many others. Types of New World Artifacts: Ceramics & Pottery Intricately designed vessels, figurines, and ceremonial objects (e.g., Maya polychrome pottery, Moche erotic pottery). Stone Carvings & Sculptures Aztec calendar stone, Olmec colossal heads, Inca stone masonry. Textiles & Clothing Andean woven textiles (e.g., Paracas mantles), feathered Aztec garments. Metalwork Gold and silver objects from the Inca, Muisca, and Mixtec cultures (e.g., the Muisca golden raft). Jade & Turquoise Objects Maya jade masks, Aztec turquoise mosaics (e.g., the double-headed serpent). Codices & Writing Systems Maya bark-paper books, Mixtec screenfold manuscripts. Weapons & Tools Obsidian blades (Macuahuitl), Inca sling stones, bone tools. Architectural Relics Carved stelae, temple ornaments, and sacrificial altars. Famous New World Artifact Discoveries: Machu Picchu (Inca) Rediscovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham. The Tomb of Pakal the Great (Maya, Palenque) A richly decorated sarcophagus. The Aztec Sun Stone A massive carved stone depicting Mesoamerican cosmology. The Spiro Mounds Effigy Pipes (Mississippian culture) Intricate stone pipes. The Lord of Sipán Tomb (Moche) A royal burial with gold and silver treasures. Controversies & Preservation: Many New World artifacts were looted during colonization or taken by explorers and are now held in museums worldwide (e.g., British Museum, Smithsonian, Museo Nacional de Antropología in Mexico). There are ongoing debates about repatriation and ethical ownership. Would you like details on a specific artifact or culture?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
