most fun class guild wars 2
In Guild Wars 2, the "most fun" class (profession) depends on your playstyle, but here are some top contenders based on enjoyment, versatility, and flashy gameplay: Elementalist (Weaver or Tempest) - Why? High-intensity, fast-paced gameplay with 4 elemental attunements (Fire, Water, Air, Earth) and flashy spell effects. - Best For: Players who love complex rotations, high APM (actions per minute), and big AoE explosions. - Downside: Squishy if not played well. Thief (Daredevil or Deadeye) - Why? Super mobile, stealth mechanics, and high burst damage (backstabs, rifle snipes, or acrobatic staff combat). - Best For: Players who enjoy hit-and-run tactics, fast-paced combat, and rogue-like gameplay. - Downside: Low survivability if caught. Engineer (Holosmith or Scrapper) - Why? Explosions, gadgets, and lasers! Holosmith turns you into a lightsaber-wielding cyborg, while Scrapper is a tanky bruiser with a flamethrower. - Best For: Players who like versatility, turret gameplay, or mecha-fantasy. - Downside: Kit-swapping can be overwhelming. Mesmer (Virtuoso or Mirage) - Why? Illusions, clones, and mind games! Mirage lets you dodge while attacking, and Virtuoso turns illusions into magic daggers. - Best For: Players who enjoy trickery, support roles, or high-skill-ceiling gameplay. - Downside: Requires good positioning. Revenant (Herald or Renegade) - Why? Channeling legends from the Mists gives you unique stances, boon support, and edgy demon vibes. - Best For: Players who like hybrid roles, energy management, and lore-heavy gameplay. - Downside: Less flexible than other classes. Guardian (Willbender or Dragonhunter) - Why? Holy fire, traps, and teleports! Willbender is super mobile, while Dragonhunter is bursty with long-range spears. - Best For: Players who like paladin aesthetics, high burst damage, or supportive playstyles. - Downside: Can be predictable in PvP. Honorable Mention: Necromancer (Reaper or Harbinger) - Why? Summon undead minions, spin-to-win with a greatsword (Reaper), or become a pistol-wielding plague doctor (Harbinger). - Best For: Players who enjoy tanky spellcasters, dark magic, or easy solo play. - Downside: Less mobile than others. Final Verdict: Most Fun for High APM: Elementalist (Weaver) Most Fun for Stealth & Mobility: Thief (Daredevil) Most Fun for Explosions & Gadgets: Engineer (Holosmith) Most Fun for Mind Games: Mesmer (Mirage) Try them outGW2s free-to-play model lets you test multiple classes before committing! Venture into the depths of Azeroth itself in this groundbreaking expansion. Face new threats emerging from the planet's core, explore mysterious underground realms, and uncover secrets that will reshape your understanding of the Warcraft universe forever.
The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
