Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

MMORPG vs. ARPG: Key Differences Both MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games) and ARPGs (Action Role-Playing Games) are RPG subgenres but differ significantly in gameplay, structure, and focus. Core Gameplay MMORPG: - Focuses on persistent online worlds with thousands of players. - Slower, strategic combat (often tab-targeting or cooldown-based). - Heavy emphasis on social interaction (guilds, raids, trading). - Progression through quests, dungeons, and long-term character development. - Examples: World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XIV, Elder Scrolls Online. ARPG: - Fast-paced, skill-based combat (real-time dodging, combos, reflexes). - Typically single-player or small co-op (not massive online worlds). - Loot-driven progression (randomized gear, builds, and farming). - Less focus on story/social, more on action and replayability. - Examples: Diablo, Path of Exile, Grim Dawn, Elden Ring (ARPG elements). Multiplayer & Social Features MMORPG: Always online, requires teamwork for endgame content (raids, PvP). ARPG: Mostly solo/co-op (2-4 players), with some exceptions (Path of Exile has MMO-like hubs). Progression & Endgame MMORPG: Gear treadmill, expansions, and long-term character investment. ARPG: Seasonal resets, loot grinding, and build experimentation. Combat Style MMORPG: Slower, ability rotations, and party synergy. ARPG: Twitch-based, dodging, and high-speed combat. Which Should You Play? Choose MMORPG if you love social gameplay, persistent worlds, and long-term progression. Choose ARPG if you prefer fast combat, loot grinding, and flexible solo play. Some games blend both (Lost Ark = MMORPG + ARPG combat), but the core differences remain. Would you like recommendations based on your preferences?

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
