Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

For a mid-range gaming laptop (typically 9001,400 USD), you are looking for the sweet spot of performance and value. The goal is usually a 1440p or high-FPS 1080p experience. Here is the breakdown of what to look for and the best models currently available. What to look for in a Mid-Range Laptop (2024-2025) GPU (Graphics Card): RTX 4060 is the standard. RTX 4070 is a nice upgrade if you can find it on sale. Avoid RTX 4050 unless the budget is very tight. CPU (Processor): Intel i7-13620H, i7-14650HX or AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS, 8845HS. RAM: 16GB DDR5 (Dual channel is a must). Screen: 1920x1200 (16:10) at 165Hz+ or 2560x1600 (QHD+) at 165Hz+. Storage: 512GB or 1TB NVMe SSD. The Top Recommendations (Late 2024 / Early 2025) Best Overall: Lenovo LOQ 15 (Gen 9) Why: This is the spiritual successor to the legendary Legion 5, but at a lower price. It has excellent build quality, a comfortable keyboard, and good cooling for the price. Specs: Ryzen 7 8845HS + RTX 4060 / 4070. The Catch: Battery life is average. Lenovo software (Lenovo Vantage) can be slightly pushy, but it works. Best for Raw Performance: HP Victus 16 (2024) Why: Often goes on sale for under 1,000 with an RTX 4060. It offers great performance for the dollar. Specs: i7-14650HX + RTX 4060 / 4070. The Catch: The screen is decent but not premium (lower brightness, often 1080p). The plastic build feels "budget," but the hinges are reliable. The power button is in an annoying spot (on the keyboard deck). Best Value & Portability (AMD Advantage): ASUS TUF A16 (2024) Why: Incredible battery life for a gaming laptop (8+ hours of light use) thanks to the AMD CPU + AMD GPU combo. It runs cool and quiet. Very durable "military-grade" build. Specs: Ryzen 7 7735HS + RX 7700S / 7600S (similar to RTX 4060). The Catch: The screen on the base model is 1080p and dim. You must get the model with the QHD+ 240Hz display option. AMD drivers are not quite as polished as Nvidia's for gaming. Best for Screen & Color Accuracy: Dell G16 (7630) Why: Dell puts a fantastic, bright QHD+ 240Hz screen in this machine. Its one of the best displays in this price range. Good for gaming and creative work (photo/video editing). Specs: i7-13650HX + RTX 4060 / 4070. The Catch: Its heavy and bulky. The cooling fan is loud under load. The Alienware command center software is a bit bloated. Best "Stealth" Look (Office Friendly): HP OMEN 16 (2024) Why: It looks like a professional laptop (no gamer RGB everywhere). It has a metal lid and good build quality. Performance is solid. Specs: i7-13700H + RTX 4060 / 4070. The Catch: The standard screen options are "okay" (1,920 x 1,080). The fans can have a high-pitched whine under load, which some people hate. The "Avoid" List for this Budget Dell G15 (last gen): Thick, heavy, terrible screen, poor thermal design. ACER Nitro 5 (base models): Very cheap build, screen hinge issues, runs hot. Only buy if under 800. ASUS TUF FX507 (Intel version): The AMD A16 is better and cheaper. Final Verdict Buy the Lenovo LOQ 15 if you want the best balance of performance, build, and upgradeability. Buy the ASUS TUF A16 (with QHD screen) if you care about battery life and want a quiet, cool laptop. Buy the HP Victus 16 if you want the cheapest way to get RTX 4060 performance and don't mind a plastic chassis. Pro Tip: Wait for a sale on the Lenovo LOQ 15 with RTX 4060. It frequently drops to 1,099-1,199 and is the best-performing laptop for that price.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
