Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Both Lost Ark and Last Epoch are popular action RPGs (ARPGs), but they cater to different player preferences. Heres a detailed comparison: Gameplay & Combat Lost Ark - Top-down, MMOARPG with fast-paced, combo-driven combat. - Focuses on skill-based rotations and dodging mechanics. - Isometric view like Diablo, but with more MMO-like raids and dungeons. - Class identity is strong, with flashy animations and impactful abilities. Last Epoch - Isometric ARPG with slower, more tactical combat than Lost Ark. - Emphasizes build customization with deep skill trees and crafting. - Time-travel theme affects gameplay (e.g., shifting between eras). - More similar to Path of Exile or Diablo in pacing. Progression & Endgame Lost Ark - Heavy grind for gear upgrades (honoring, gem systems). - MMO-style endgame: Raids, Guardian Raids, Chaos Dungeons, PvP. - Daily/weekly lockouts on key activities. - Pay-to-Progress Faster: Free-to-play but with heavy monetization. Last Epoch - Smoother progression with deterministic crafting. - Endgame revolves around Monoliths (procedural maps) and Arena. - No pay-to-win (purely cosmetic microtransactions). - Offline mode available (unlike Lost Ark). Multiplayer & Social Features Lost Ark - Massively multiplayer with guilds, PvP, and large-scale co-op. - Server-dependent (regions matter for latency and player base). - Requires online connection at all times. Last Epoch - Optional multiplayer (can play solo or in small groups). - No massive raidsfocus is on smaller co-op (1-4 players). - Offline mode available (great for solo players). Monetization Lost Ark - Free-to-play but heavily monetized (skins, boosts, pay-for-convenience). - Gold sellers/bots are a persistent issue. Last Epoch - Buy-to-play (no subscription or mandatory microtransactions). - Only cosmetics in the cash shop. Story & World Lost Ark - High-fantasy MMO with a linear but cinematic story. - Beautiful, vibrant world with varied zones. Last Epoch - Time-travel narrative with branching timelines. - Less polished cinematics but deeper lore for ARPG fans. Which One Should You Play? Play Lost Ark if you: - Enjoy MMO elements (raids, guilds, PvP). - Like flashy combat and dont mind grinding. - Want a free-to-play experience (with monetization). Play Last Epoch if you: - Prefer deep ARPG customization (like Path of Exile). - Want a fair, buy-to-play model with no pay-to-win. - Enjoy solo or small-group play with offline options. Final Verdict Lost Ark = MMOARPG with grind & social features. Last Epoch = Traditional ARPG with deep builds & fair monetization. If you prefer MMO-style content, go for Lost Ark. If you want a pure ARPG experience, Last Epoch is the better choice.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
