In Wizard101, Lore Spells (often called "Lore Spells" or "Spells from Loremaster") are special spells that can be learned from various bosses around the Spiral, not just from your school trainers. They are typically dropped by specific bosses, and some of the most famous ones come from Loremaster in Dragonspyre but there are many other sources. Heres a breakdown of where to find Lore Spells (often referred to by players as "Lore spells" or "Rune spells" because some involve rune-like aesthetics or are learned from runic-themed bosses): Loremaster (Dragonspyre) Location: Dragonspyre The Atheneum Loremasters chamber. Drops: Many school-specific Lore spells, such as: - Krampus (Ice) - Handsome Fomori (Balance) - Ninja Pigs (Myth) - Lord of Night (Death) - Queen Calypso (Storm) - Baba Yaga (Life) - Helephant (Fire) - Luminous Weaver (Star) - And others like Reindeer Knight, Krampus, Winter Moon, Pigsie, etc. (some are seasonal but drop here too). Other Boss-Specific Lore Spells Some Lore spells only drop from certain bosses in later worlds: Ratatoskrs Spin (Life) Dropped by Ratatoskr in Sardonyx (Karamelle). Ship of Fools (Death) Dropped by Revered Rune Ghost in the Runedome (Polaris). Nested Fury (Myth) Dropped by Omen Stribog (Mount Olympus dungeon in Aquila). Hammer of Thor (Storm) Dropped by Gladiator Dimachaerus (Mount Olympus). Cultists Blade / Whirlwind / etc. Various bosses in Mirage, e.g., Rugals Tomb. Headless Horseman (Death) Dropped by The Headless Horseman (Halloween event boss in Darkmoor Manor). Ninja Pigs (Myth) Also from Loremaster, but originally from Koto (Mooshu). Pigsie (Life) Loremaster, but also from various packs and some bosses. Deer Knight (Death) Craftable, but also drops from Loremaster and other bosses. Goat Monk (Myth) Temenos (Avalon). Samoorai (Myth) Baba Yaga (Zafaria) and Loremaster. Craftable Lore Spells Some Lore spells are obtained via recipe drops and crafting: Deer Knight (Death) Recipe sold in Avalon. Lord of Night (Death) Recipe from certain bosses. Handsome Fomori (Balance) Crafting recipe from Azteca. Winter Moon (Ice) Recipe from Loremaster or holiday events. Special Event & Pack Lore Spells Krampus (Ice) Loremaster during Christmas, or Yuletide packs. Reindeer Knight (Ice) Loremaster during Christmas, or crafted via recipe from holiday vendor. Burning Rampage (Fire) From Jeweled Slopes packs or certain bosses. Snappy Gryphon (Balance) From Grizzleheim lore pack. Spells from Rune-type Bosses If you mean literally Runes in the name: Revered Rune Ghost (Polaris) Drops Ship of Fools. Runic Key Guardian (Empyrea) Drops various reagents but not necessarily spells. Rune-covered bosses in Karamelle and Lemuria sometimes drop new Lore spells. Quick Tips for Farming Lore Spells: Loremaster is the most famous spot because she drops many at once. Check the Wiki for which boss drops the specific spell you want. Some spells are seasonal (only during holidays) from Loremaster. Crafting may be more reliable than farming for some spells (e.g., Deer Knight). Team up farming with others speeds up runs. If youre looking for a specific spell, let me know which one and I can tell you the best source!

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
