Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! Level 78 in Wizard101 is a significant milestone, especially for the Myth School, as it's the level you get the best Myth pet in the game: the Krokopatra. Heres a detailed breakdown of pets, strategies, and what you should focus on at Level 78. The Crown Jewel: Krokopatra (Myth Only) This is the main event for Myth wizards at this level. How to Get: Defeat Krokopatra in the Tomb of Storms (Krokotopia). She is a secret boss in a side dungeon. Why It's The Best: The Krokopatra pet gives the spell Krokopatra (a 7-pip AoE that does 530-590 damage to all enemies). This is your first and strongest 7-pip AoE until you get Orthrus at level 48, and it remains a powerful, efficient farming spell even at max level. Pet Hatching Tip: If you're not Myth, you can hatch with a friend who has the Krokopatra pet to try and get the pet body (which grants the card) for your own school. The stats/talents will be mixed, but getting the card is the priority. Pet Goals for All Schools at Level 78 You are in the middle of Azteca (levels 70-90), where difficulty spikes. Your pet should be focused on survival and damage. Ideal Talent Setup: Damage & Resist Triple-Double: This is the golden standard for questing. Talents: Mighty (or Thinkin' Cap), Pain-Giver, Myth-Dealer (or your school's dealer). / Spell-Proof, Spell-Defying, Myth-Giver (or your school's giver). Result: 22% Universal Damage and 17% Universal Resist. This makes you significantly tankier while hitting hard. Critical Setups: Critical becomes more viable now. A Critical Hitter pet with your school's striker & giver talents, plus damage, is a good offensive option. Best Pet Bodies (For All Schools): Bloodbat: Still excellent for the Blade + Item Card Blade. Gloomy Eye (Myth): Provides a Myth Blade and a 4-pip AoE (Frogikus). Fantastic for fast battles. Armament (Timerus, etc.): Gives a Sharpened Blade item card (potentiates your normal blades by +10%). Incredibly valuable for boss fights. Clamoring Ghulture: For the School-specific Blade + Feint item card. A huge boost in damage. Shivering Risen Knight (Polaris): Gives a Mass Tower Shield item card, great for support or solo survival. Stats to Aim For: To ensure your chosen talents manifest at their maximum strength (e.g., Spell-Proof giving 11% resist), your pet needs high stats: Strength: 250+ Intellect: Doesn't matter for offensive talents. Agility: 250+ Will: 260+ Power: 250+ Aim for a max stat total of 255+ for the key attributes (Str, Agi, Will, Pwr). Pet Training & Hatching Strategy at Level 78 Find a Pet in the Kiosk: Use the Pet Pavilion's Hatching Kiosk. Search for the pet body you want (e.g., "Armament") with the talents you need ("Pain-Giver", "Proof", "Mighty"). Hatch Repeatedly: Your first hatch will likely give you a "first generation" pet with mixed talents. Train it to Adult (Ancient is better) to see its talents. Use it to hatch again with the same target pet in the kiosk to improve your gene pool. The "Adult -> Hatch" Loop: This is the most efficient gold and time strategy. Train pets only to Adult to reveal 2-3 talents. If they are not the ones you want, use it to hatch again. Only train to Mega if the Adult talents are perfect. What About Other Schools' Unique Pets? Level 78 doesn't hold a unique, spell-granting pet for other schools like it does for Myth. Your focus should be on the universal talent builds mentioned above. However, always check secret bosses in older worldsthey sometimes drop school-specific pets with unique cards (like the Raging Bull for Fire from Mount Olympus). Quick Checklist for Level 78: Myth Wizards: Get the Krokopatra pet first. Then work on making a "triple-double" version of it or a supporting pet like an Armament. All Other Schools: Aim for a "triple-double" pet (Damage & Resist) on a useful body like Armament (Sharpened Blade) or Clamoring Ghulture (Blade+Feint). Use the Hatching Kiosk it's a game-changer. Farm Gold: You'll need lots of it for hatching. Halfang Bristlecrown in Vestrilund (Wintertusk) is still the best spot at your level. By focusing on a strong pet at level 78, you'll make the challenging battles of Azteca and the upcoming Khrysalis much more manageable. Good luck

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
