Of course! In Wizard101, Level 48 is a major milestone for all schools, as it's when you learn your first 7-Pip "AoE" (Area of Effect) spella spell that hits all enemies at once. This dramatically speeds up combat. Here is the complete list of Level 48 spells, one for each school of magic. Level 48 Spells by School School Spell Name Type (Pips) Effect : : : : Fire Rain of Fire AoE (7 Pips) Deals 545 Fire Damage to all enemies, plus an additional 545 Fire Damage over 3 rounds. Ice Frost Giant Single Target (7 Pips) Deals 775 Ice Damage and puts a -25% Ice Shield on the target for 4 rounds. Storm Tempest AoE (7 Pips) Deals 515 Storm Damage to all enemies. Damage increases by 65 for each Pip you have beyond the 7 used to cast it (up to a max of 14 pips). Myth Earthquake AoE (7 Pips) Deals 460 Myth Damage to all enemies and removes all positive charms (blades) and wards (shields) from all enemies. Life Forest Lord AoE (7 Pips) Deals 620 Life Damage to all enemies. Death Scarecrow AoE (7 Pips) Deals 400 Death Damage to all enemies and heals the caster for 50% of the damage done to each enemy. Balance Power Nova AoE (7 Pips) Deals 520 Balance Damage to all enemies. Key Things to Know About Level 48 Spells: Quest Requirement: You don't automatically get these spells at level 48. You must complete the "Trial of the Spheres" quest in Celestia's The Crustacean Empire. This quest involves a solo duel against a challenging "Trial" version of yourself. Game-Changing Impact: For Fire, Storm, Myth, Life, Death, and Balance, this is your first reliable, high-damage spell that hits all enemies. It becomes the cornerstone of your PvE strategy for the rest of the game. The Ice Exception: Notice that Ice does not get an AoE at 48. Instead, they get the powerful single-target Frost Giant. Ice wizards receive their first 7-pip AoE (Snow Angel) much later, at Level 58. Spell Design Philosophy: Fire's Rain of Fire is damage-over-time (DoT). Storm's Tempest is a scalable nuke. Myth's Earthquake is a disruptive tool that removes buffs. Death's Scarecrow provides sustain through healing. * Balance's Power Nova is reliable, pure damage. How to Get Your Level 48 Spell: Reach Level 48. Progress through the main story in Celestia until you get the quest "Trial of the Spheres" from Dworgyn in the Death School (or your respective school professor). Enter the Spiral Door in your school's classroom in Ravenwood. Defeat your "Trial" self in a solo duel. (Tip: Use shields and have a good strategy ready!). The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
