kickstarter mmorpg
If you're looking for Kickstarter MMORPGs, there are several notable crowdfunded projects that have gained attention over the years. Below is a list of some popular and upcoming MMORPGs that were funded (or attempted to fund) via Kickstarter: Successful Kickstarter MMORPGs: Crowfall (2015) - Raised 1.7M+ - A PvP-focused MMORPG with a dynamic world and faction warfare. - Status: Officially launched in 2021 but shut down in 2023. Camelot Unchained (2013) - Raised 2.2M+ - A Realm vs. Realm (RvR) MMORPG by Mark Jacobs (Dark Age of Camelot). - Status: Still in development (long delays). Star Citizen (2012) (Originally Kickstarted, but moved to private funding) - Raised 2.1M+ (now over 600M+ in total funding). - A space sim MMO with persistent universe elements. - Status: Still in alpha, but playable. Shroud of the Avatar (2013) - Raised 1.9M+ - A spiritual successor to Ultima by Richard Garriott. - Status: Released but struggled with player retention. Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen (2014, 2017, 2020) (Multiple funding attempts) - Raised 4.5M+ (across Kickstarter & private funding). - A hardcore, group-focused MMORPG inspired by EverQuest. - Status: Still in development (slow progress). Chronicles of Elyria (2016) - Raised 1.3M+ - Promised a "player-driven world with aging & permadeath." - Status: Canceled in 2020 (refund issues, lawsuits). Ashes of Creation (2017) (Kickstarter + Private Funding) - Raised 3.2M+ (total funding now 40M+). - A node-based, dynamic world MMORPG with PvP & PvE. - Status: In development (Alpha tests ongoing). Upcoming/Recent Kickstarter MMORPGs: Fractured Online (2018) (Kickstarted but later moved to private funding) - A sandbox MMORPG with dynamic factions. - Status: Early Access on Steam. Profane (2021) (Kickstarter failed, but still in development) - A sandbox MMORPG with open-world PvP and survival elements. - Status: Still in pre-alpha. Embers Adrift (2021) (Kickstarter success) - A group-focused, old-school MMORPG with slower combat. - Status: Released in 2022 (small but dedicated player base). Kickstarter MMORPGs That Failed or Were Scams: The Repopulation (2012) (Kickstarted, but development stalled multiple times) Identity (2015) (Originally pitched as an MMO, but shifted focus) Identity MMORPG (2018) (Different project, failed Kickstarter) Should You Back a Kickstarter MMORPG? Pros: Early access, exclusive rewards, supporting indie devs. Cons: High risk of delays, cancellations, or unmet promises. If you're interested in upcoming MMORPGs, I recommend checking Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or official game websites for the latest updates. Would you like recommendations based on a specific playstyle (PvP, PvE, sandbox, etc.)?

Venture into the depths of Azeroth itself in this groundbreaking expansion. Face new threats emerging from the planet's core, explore mysterious underground realms, and uncover secrets that will reshape your understanding of the Warcraft universe forever.
The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
