Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! Khonsu in Wizard101 is a powerful Moon School spell, and one of the most visually impressive and strategically unique spells in the game. Heres a detailed breakdown of everything you need to know about Khonsu: The Basics School: Moon School (Polymorph spell) Type: Transformation Rank: 8 (requires 4 Power Pips to cast) Accuracy: 90% Obtained: As a quest reward from Dyvim Whitehart in Azteca (around level 80-85). What Khonsu Does When you cast Khonsu, your wizard transforms into a massive, spectral moon serpent for the next three rounds. During this time, you cannot cast any of your regular spells. Instead, you get access to three unique, powerful Moon School attacks that replace your hand of cards. The Three Attacks (in order): Crescent Slash: A single-target Moon attack. Lunar Lance: A single-target Moon attack that deals more damage than Crescent Slash. Lunar Rampage: A powerful AoE (Area of Effect) Moon attack that hits all enemies. After the third attack (Lunar Rampage), the transformation ends, and you return to your normal form. Strategic Pros & Cons Advantages: High, Guaranteed Damage: The sequence deals very high total Moon damage over three rounds without needing to set up blades or traps. It's excellent for breaking through shields. Ignores School Restrictions: As a Moon spell, its damage is not affected by your wizard's primary school. This makes it a fantastic heavy-hitting option for support schools (like Life or Balance) in the mid-game. AoE Finish: It culminates in an all-enemy hit, which is great for cleaning up fights. Cool Factor: The animation is one of the best in the gameyou become a giant, celestial snake. It's a showstopper. Disadvantages: Loss of Control: For three rounds, you cannot heal, shield, blade, or use any utility spells. You are locked into the attack sequence. Predictable: Your opponent knows exactly what you'll do for three rounds (Single, Single, AoE) and can plan around it (e.g., shielding on the third round for the AoE). Moon Damage: It is not affected by your school-specific damage boosts (e.g., a Fire wizard's Fire Damage % does not help Khonsu). It can be boosted by Universal Damage and Moon School-specific blades (which are rare). Cost: At 8 pips, it's a big investment, and if the transformation is dispelled or you are stunned, you lose it. How to Use Khonsu Effectively Finishing Move: Best used when you are already in a stable position (good health, maybe a shield up) and want to unleash a burst of damage to end a fight. Shield-Breaker: Its pure, high Moon damage is perfect for removing enemies who have stacked multiple towers or school-specific shields. For Support Wizards: As mentioned, it's a prime damage card for non-attacking schools during the Azteca and Khrysalis eras. Combination: You can blade up before casting Khonsu. Use a Spirit Blade (or a Dragonblade if you have it) or a Hex to boost the damage of all three subsequent hits. Trivia & Additional Info Theme: Khonsu is the name of the ancient Egyptian god of the moon, time, and healing, often depicted as a man with a falcon's head or as a youth with a sidelock of hair. The in-game serpent form is a creative interpretation. The Moon School: Moon, along with Sun and Star, are "Astral" schools learned in Celestia. Moon focuses on transformation and unique effects, making its spells high-risk, high-reward. Later Game: While Khonsu is a standout spell for many wizards during levels 80-100, its use often declines in the very late game (130-170) as wizards get access to higher-damage, more flexible spells from their own schools and shadow-enhanced spells. In summary, Khonsu is a iconic, powerful, and fun transformation spell that serves as a major power spike for wizards in Azteca. It's a fantastic tool for dealing massive, unavoidable damage, especially for wizards whose primary school isn't focused on offense. Just be smart about when you use it, as it locks you into a three-turn sequence!

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
