Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

An isometric MMORPG is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that uses an isometric perspective (a 2.5D view with a fixed camera angle, often at a 30-45 degree tilt). This style was popular in classic RPGs and early MMOs, offering a balance between 2D sprites/simpler 3D models and a pseudo-3D environment. Key Features of Isometric MMORPGs: Fixed Camera Angle The view is locked in an isometric perspective, giving a tactical, top-down feel. Strategic Gameplay Often emphasizes positioning, party coordination, and tactical combat. Retro or Stylized Art Many use pixel art, hand-drawn sprites, or low-poly 3D models. Persistent Worlds Like all MMOs, they feature shared online worlds with other players. Classic RPG Mechanics Often include deep character progression, loot systems, and questing. Popular & Notable Isometric MMORPGs: Old School: - Tibia (1997) One of the earliest isometric MMORPGs. - RuneScape (Classic) (2001) Originally isometric before evolving into 3D. - Ultima Online (1997) Partially isometric in its tile-based view. Modern Examples: - Albion Online (2017) A sandbox MMORPG with isometric combat and full-loot PvP. - Lost Ark (2019 in KR, 2022 globally) Mixes isometric ARPG combat with MMO elements. - Dofus / Wakfu (French turn-based tactical MMOs). - Project: Gorgon A niche indie MMORPG with an isometric view. Upcoming Isometric MMORPGs: Pax Dei A social sandbox MMO with an isometric-like view. Dungeonborne A mix of dungeon crawler and MMO with isometric combat. Why Play an Isometric MMORPG? Nostalgia for classic RPGs. Prefer tactical combat over fast-paced action. Enjoy a mix of MMO persistence with ARPG-style gameplay (e.g., Diablo but online). Would you like recommendations based on specific preferences (PvP, PvE, sandbox, etc.)?

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
