Whether The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is worth it depends on what you're looking for in an MMO and how much you enjoy the Elder Scrolls universe. Heres a breakdown to help you decide: Pros: Massive, Rich World Explore all of Tamriel (Morrowind, Skyrim, Elsweyr, etc.) with deep lore and beautiful zones. Great Storytelling Fully voiced quests with engaging narratives, unlike many MMOs. Flexible Playstyle Play solo like a single-player RPG or group up for dungeons, PvP, and raids. No Pay-to-Win The cash shop is mostly cosmetic, and the game is very fair for free players. Frequent Updates Expansions and DLCs add new zones, classes, and mechanics yearly. One-Time Purchase (Base Game) You can buy the base game cheaply and enjoy hundreds of hours of content. Cons: Combat Feels Floaty Not as weighty as Skyrim or action RPGs; some find it repetitive. Inventory Management Without ESO Plus (subscription), crafting bag space is a hassle. Some DLCs Feel Required Expansions like Morrowind and Summerset add major features. Grind for Endgame Gear upgrades and Champion Points can take time. Who Will Love It? Fans of Elder Scrolls lore and exploration. Players who enjoy story-driven quests over hardcore raiding. Casual gamers who want a flexible MMO without heavy commitments. Who Might Dislike It? Players looking for ultra-challenging, fast-paced combat (like Dark Souls or WoW raids). Those who dislike MMO mechanics (hotbar skills, cooldowns, etc.). Verdict: If you enjoy Elder Scrolls and want a massive world to explore at your own pace, ESO is absolutely worth it, especially on sale. The base game alone offers hundreds of hours of content. If you prefer hardcore endgame progression or dislike MMO mechanics, it might not be for you. Best Way to Try It: Grab the base game on sale (often under 10). If you love it, consider ESO Plus for DLC access and QoL perks. Would you like recommendations on classes or starting zones?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
