hierarchy eve online
In EVE Online, the concept of hierarchy plays a crucial role in various aspects of the game, particularly in corporation (corp) and alliance management, fleet operations, and access control. Below is a breakdown of the key hierarchies in EVE: Corporation & Alliance Hierarchy Corporations (player-run guilds) and alliances (groups of corps) have structured roles and ranks to manage members, assets, and operations. Corporation Ranks & Roles CEO (Chief Executive Officer) The highest authority; owns the corp. Directors Second-in-command; can manage roles, assets, and recruitment. Roles (Assigned by CEO/Directors): - HR (Personnel Manager) Handles recruitment and kicks. - Wallet Division Controls finances. - Hangar Division Manages corp hangars. - Military Can form fleets on behalf of the corp. - Station Manager Controls station services (if applicable). Alliance Hierarchy Executor CEO Leader of the alliance (usually the CEO of the executor corp). Alliance Directors High-ranking officers with administrative powers. Member Corps Individual corps within the alliance, each with their own internal hierarchy. Fleet Hierarchy (Combat Operations) During fleet battles, a strict chain of command ensures coordination: Fleet Commander (FC) Leads the fleet, gives orders. Squad Commanders Sub-leaders managing smaller groups. Wing Commanders If the fleet is large enough, wings (groups of squads) may be formed. Logistics & Support Roles Dedicated healers (logi), scouts, and tackle. Access Control & Permissions EVE has a granular role-based permission system for: Corp Hangars (Who can withdraw/deposit items) Starbases (POS/Citadels) (Fuel, module control) Wallet Access (Who can withdraw ISK) Recruitment & Kicking (HR roles) Sov (Sovereignty) Hierarchy (Null-Sec) In null-sec space, alliances control territory via Infrastructure Hubs (IHUBs) and TCUs (Territorial Claim Units). The hierarchy here involves: Alliance Leadership Decides sov strategy. Corp FCs & PvP Leads Execute sov warfare (entosis fleets, structure bashes). Members Participate in reinforcing/defending structures. Market & Industry Hierarchy Some corps/alliances have specialized industrial divisions with roles like: Procurement Officers Buy materials. Build Managers Oversee production. Freighters/Jump Freighter Pilots Handle logistics. Why Hierarchy Matters Efficiency Clear roles prevent chaos in large groups. Security Prevents theft/spying (e.g., limiting wallet access). Coordination Essential for large-scale PvP (fleet battles, sov warfare). Would you like details on a specific hierarchy aspect?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
