guild wars 2 healer classes
In Guild Wars 2, several classes can fulfill the healer/support role in group content (like raids, strikes, and fractals). Here are the top healer/support builds, ranked by popularity and effectiveness: Firebrand (Guardian Willbender also viable) - Role: Quickness + Healing (Quickbrand Healer) - Strengths: High burst healing, strong boon support (Quickness, Aegis, Stability), and excellent utility with tomes. - Build: Usually "Heal Firebrand" (Harrier/Magi stats) with Mantras and Tome of Resolve. - Best for: Raids, Fractals, and general PvE. Druid (Ranger) - Role: Healing + Alacrity or Might (Celestial Avatar) - Strengths: Strong sustained healing, spirits for buffs, and good CC (Glyph of the Stars). - Build: "Heal Alacrity Druid" (Harrier stats) with Staff/Axe+Warhorn. - Best for: Raids (especially W5-W7), Strike Missions. Mechanist (Engineer) - Role: Alacrity + Healing (Heal Alac Mech) - Strengths: Simple to play, high barrier output, and reliable alacrity. - Build: "Heal Alacrity Mechanist" (Harrier stats) with Mace/Shield and Med Kit. - Best for: PUGs, Strike Missions, and Fractals. Tempest (Elementalist) - Role: Healing + Might (Aura Share Tempest) - Strengths: Strong AoE healing, overloads for boons, and good rez potential. - Build: "Heal Tempest" (Harrier/Magi stats) with Staff/Water & Earth. - Best for: WvW (zerg support), some raid encounters. Herald (Revenant) - Role: Quickness + Healing (Heal Herald) - Strengths: High boon uptime (Protection, Regen, Swiftness), and facet-sharing. - Build: "Heal Quick Herald" (Harrier stats) with Staff/Sword+Shield. - Best for: Open World, some raid/strike comps. Scourge (Necromancer Barrier Support) - Role: Barrier + Rez Bot (Not pure healer but strong support) - Strengths: Carries bad groups with Transfusion and Barrier. - Build: "Heal Scourge" (Plaguedoctor/Harrier) with Blood Magic. - Best for: Carrying low-DPS groups in raids/fractals. The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
