Guild Wars 2 64-bit Client: What You Need to Know ArenaNet officially released a 64-bit version of Guild Wars 2 in 2021, replacing the older 32-bit client. Heres what you should know: Key Features of the 64-bit Client Better Performance Handles more RAM efficiently, reducing crashes and improving stability. Optimized for Modern Systems Takes advantage of 64-bit processors. Smoother Gameplay Especially in crowded areas (like World vs. World or meta events). How to Use the 64-bit Client Default Installation: If you installed GW2 after 2021, you likely already have the 64-bit version. Check Your Client: - Look for Gw2-64.exe in your Guild Wars 2 folder. - In the Launcher, check the top-left cornerit should say "Guild Wars 2 (64-bit)." Manual Switch (if needed): - Open the GW2 Launcher Settings (Gear Icon) Choose "Guild Wars 2 64-bit" under Client Type. Benefits Over 32-bit Reduced Memory Limitations 32-bit was capped at 4GB RAM; 64-bit can use much more. Fewer Crashes Especially in high-demand situations. Future-Proofing Better support for upcoming updates and expansions. Troubleshooting If you experience issues, try a -repair in the command line. Ensure your drivers (GPU, etc.) are up to date. Some older mods (like certain dx912pxy versions) may need updates for 64-bit compatibility. Still Using 32-bit? ArenaNet has phased out the 32-bit client, so switching to 64-bit is highly recommended. Would you like help with installation or performance tweaks?

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
