guild wars 2 2025 tier list
As of now (2024), there isn't an official Guild Wars 2 Tier List for 2025, but based on current trends, balance patches, and ArenaNet's design philosophy, we can make some educated predictions for PvE (Raids/Fractals), WvW, and PvP in 2025. Guild Wars 2 2025 Tier List (Predicted) (Assuming no major reworks or expansions drastically changing the meta) PvE (Endgame - Raids/Strike Missions/Fractals) S-Tier (Meta-Defining, High Demand) Firebrand (Guardian) Still the best quickness DPS/support hybrid. Herald (Revenant) Strong alacrity + boon support with solid damage. Virtuoso (Mesmer) Reliable ranged DPS with burst potential. Mechanist (Engineer) Easy rotations, high DPS, and alacrity support. Weaver (Elementalist) If buffed, could return as top DPS. A-Tier (Strong, Viable in All Groups) Scourge (Necromancer) Barrier and rez utility. Soulbeast (Ranger) High burst DPS. Daredevil/Deadeye (Thief) Strong single-target damage. Chronomancer (Mesmer) Still useful for tanking/boon support. B-Tier (Situational but Decent) Berserker (Warrior) Banner changes may keep it relevant. Reaper (Necromancer) Good cleave but lacks utility. Tempest (Elementalist) Strong heal/boon support but niche. C-Tier (Underperforming or Too Niche) Untamed (Ranger) Clunky mechanics unless reworked. Catalyst (Elementalist) Hard to justify over Weaver. Willbender (Guardian) Fun but outshined by Firebrand. WvW (Zerg & Roaming) S-Tier (Meta Picks) Firebrand (Guardian) Must-have for stability and healing. Scourge (Necromancer) AoE pressure and boon corrupt. Herald (Revenant) Boon support and damage. A-Tier (Strong Alternatives) Spellbreaker (Warrior) Boon strip and frontline tank. Druid (Ranger) Strong healer in small groups. Chronomancer (Mesmer) Veil and CC utility. B-Tier (Viable but Not Optimal) Weaver (Elementalist) High risk, high reward. Deadeye (Thief) Good for roaming but weak in zergs. PvP (Conquest) S-Tier (Top Performers) Harbinger (Necromancer) Strong sustain and pressure. Willbender (Guardian) High mobility and burst. Daredevil (Thief) Decap and +1 king. A-Tier (Solid Picks) Ranger (Soulbeast/Untamed) Strong dueling. Herald (Revenant) Sustain and teamfight presence. B-Tier (Situational) Weaver (Elementalist) Hard to play effectively. Warrior (Berserker/Spellbreaker) Depends on meta shifts. Final Notes: Balance patches will heavily influence the 2025 meta. New Elite Specs (if released with an expansion) could shake things up. Player skill still matters more than tier lists in most cases. Would you like a more detailed breakdown for a specific game mode?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
