Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Here is a comprehensive overview of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Software, broken down by category, key players, and use cases. What is Generative AI Software? Unlike traditional AI that analyzes data (e.g., "is this a cat?"), generative AI creates new content. It can produce text, images, code, music, video, 3D models, and even scientific data based on prompts or patterns it has learned from training data. Major Categories & Leading Software Text & Language (Large Language Models - LLMs) These are the most popular tools for writing, coding, translation, and brainstorming. ChatGPT (OpenAI): The most famous. Versatile for conversation, writing, summarization, and coding. (Paid tiers: GPT-4, GPT-4 Turbo; Free: GPT-3.5). Gemini (Google): Built into Google ecosystem. Strong at reasoning, multimodal (text, image, audio input). Formerly Bard. Claude (Anthropic): Prioritizes safety and helpfulness. Excellent for long-form documents, analysis, and nuanced conversation. Llama 3 (Meta): Open-source LLM. Highly customizable and powerful. Used by developers to build their own applications. Mistral (Mistral AI): Efficient and powerful open-source models (Mistral 7B, Mixtral 8x7B). Known for speed and performance. Copilot (Microsoft): Integrated into Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) and Windows. Excellent for productivity. Perplexity AI: An "answer engine" that combines a chatbot with real-time web search and citations. Image Generation These tools create and edit images from text descriptions ("prompts"). DALL-E 3 (OpenAI): Integrated into ChatGPT. Excellent at following complex prompts with high accuracy. Midjourney: Known for stunning, artistic, and highly stylized images. Accessed via Discord. Very popular in design. Stable Diffusion (Stability AI): Open-source and highly customizable. Runs locally on your PC (free/private). Versions include SDXL and SD3. Platforms like Automatic1111 and ComfyUI are front-ends to control it. Adobe Firefly: Integrated into Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator). Commercially safe (trained on licensed data). Excellent for inpainting, extending images, and design assets. Canva (Magic Studio): User-friendly generative AI for non-designers. Includes text-to-image, magic erase, and AI video. Video Generation This is the fastest-evolving category. Software generates short video clips from text. Sora (OpenAI): (Limited release, high quality). Creates highly realistic and imaginative videos up to a minute long. Runway Gen-3 Alpha: Advanced tool for generating and editing video. Used in professional filmmaking (e.g., "The Frost"). Pika Labs: User-friendly web app for generating and editing videos. Good for social media content. Kaiber: Focuses on animation and music videos. Has a distinct artistic style. Music & Audio Generation Suno AI: Generates complete songs (lyrics, vocals, instruments) from text prompts. Very impressive for music creation. Udio: Similar to Suno, known for high-quality realism and genre flexibility. ElevenLabs: The leader in realistic text-to-speech (TTS) and voice cloning. Used for audiobooks, dubbing, and content creation. Murf: User-friendly AI voiceover tool for videos, presentations, and e-learning. Code Generation & Development GitHub Copilot (Microsoft/OpenAI): An AI pair programmer that suggests code in real-time inside VS Code, JetBrains, etc. (Paid). Cursor: A code editor built entirely around AI. Integrates deeply with LLMs for context-aware code generation and debugging. Replit AI: An online IDE with an integrated AI assistant for building apps quickly. Tabnine: A code completion tool that can run locally for privacy (good for enterprise). 3D & Design Autodesk Forma: Generative design for architecture and construction. NVIDIA Picasso: Platform for creating and editing 3D assets, images, and videos using generative AI. Luma AI: Captures real-world scenes into photorealistic 3D models (NeRF technology) and generates 3D objects from text. Meshy: Text-to-3D asset generation for games and VR. How to Choose the Right Software Use Case Best Software (Free/Cheap) Best Software (Professional) : : : General Writing ChatGPT (GPT-3.5) ChatGPT (GPT-4), Claude, Gemini Advanced Design & Art DALL-E 3 (via Bing), Stable Diffusion (local) Midjourney, Adobe Firefly Video Creation Runway Gen-2 (Free tier), Pika Labs Runway Gen-3, Sora (when released) Music Suno AI, Udio (Free tiers) Suno AI (Pro), ElevenLabs Coding GitHub Copilot (Free for students), Replit Copilot Business, Cursor Pro Productivity Copilot (Windows), Gemini (Google) Microsoft 365 Copilot, Notion AI Key Differences to Watch For Proprietary vs. Open Source: OpenAI/Microsoft/Google are closed. Llama, Mistral, Stable Diffusion are open-source (runnable locally/privately). Multimodal: Can the software handle text, images, and audio as input? (e.g., Gemini, GPT-4V). Context Window: How much text can it remember? (Claude can handle 200k tokensan entire book). Commercial Use: Can you use the output for profit? (Adobe Firefly and Shutterstock are safe; Midjourney requires a paid plan; others have restrictions). Pricing: Most have a free tier (limited) and a subscription (10-30/month for individual; enterprise pricing varies). The Future (Trends) AI Agents: Software that can perform actions (book flights, send emails) instead of just generating text/images (e.g., AutoGPT, Copilot Actions). Video-First: Expect rapid improvement in long-form, high-fidelity video generation. Customization: Fine-tuning open-source models for specific industries (medical, legal, creative). Local vs. Cloud: Privacy laws are driving demand for more powerful local AI models. Bottom line: For most people, start with ChatGPT (text) , Midjourney (images) , and Suno (music) . For developers, GitHub Copilot and Llama 3 are essential.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
