Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Here is a comprehensive overview of the Gemini AI tool (formerly known as Bard), developed by Google. What is Gemini? Gemini is Google's most advanced and capable AI model family. Unlike a single tool, Gemini is an ecosystem that powers several products. It's designed to be multimodal, meaning it can understand and work with different types of informationtext, code, images, audio, and video. The Key Products Powered by Gemini There are three main ways you can interact with Gemini: Gemini Chatbot (formerly Google Bard): This is the direct, consumer-facing web and mobile app. You can chat with it, ask questions, get help with writing, brainstorming, coding, and analyzing information. - Access: gemini.google.com (free) or Gemini Advanced (paid, part of Google One AI Premium). Gemini in Google Workspace: This integrates the AI directly into Google's productivity apps (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet). - Features: - Gmail: "Help me write" emails, summarize threads. - Docs: Generate text, rewrite paragraphs, brainstorm ideas. - Slides: Generate slides and images. - Sheets: Help with formulas and data organization. - Meet: Generate custom backgrounds and take notes (with "Gemini for Workspace" add-on). Gemini API for Developers: This allows developers and businesses to build their own applications using the Gemini models. It's a direct competitor to OpenAI's API. Gemini Model Sizes To serve different needs, Gemini comes in three sizes: Gemini Ultra: The largest and most capable model. It excels at complex tasks, reasoning, and multimodal understanding. It's the model behind Gemini Advanced. Gemini Pro: A balanced model for scaling across a wide range of tasks. It powers the standard Gemini Chatbot and many Workspace features. Gemini Nano: The most efficient model, designed to run on-device (like on a Pixel phone). It powers features like "Summarize" in the Recorder app or Smart Reply in Gboard without needing an internet connection. Key Strengths & Features of Gemini True Multimodality: This is its biggest differentiator from early versions of ChatGPT or Bing Chat. - You can show it a picture and ask for a description, a recipe, or a caption. - You can upload a video and ask questions about its content. - You can give it a PDF and have it summarize the key findings. Integration with Google Ecosystem: Its biggest advantage. It can access Google Search for real-time info (when enabled), pull data from your Gmail, Docs, and Drive to answer questions like "What is the date of my flight next week?" (Gemini for Workspace). Strong Coding & Logic: It excels at writing, explaining, and debugging code in many programming languages. It also performs well on complex reasoning and math problems. Fact-Checking (Double-Check): The chatbot can search Google to verify its own responses, a feature unique to Gemini. Real-World Understanding: Google has a massive amount of training data from the open web, giving Gemini broad knowledge. Weaknesses & Limitations (as of early 2024) Inconsistency: Performance can vary depending on the task. It might be brilliant at one thing and struggle with another. Hallucinations: Like all LLMs, it can sometimes confidently state incorrect information or "hallucinate" facts. "Gemini Advanced" is not free: The most powerful Ultra model requires a monthly subscription (19.99/month in the US via Google One AI Premium). Context Window: While large (32k tokens for Pro, 1M for Ultra for some tasks), it's not as large as some competitors like Claude 3. How to Use Gemini Free Tier (Gemini Pro): - Go to gemini.google.com. - Sign in with your Google account. - Start asking questions. You can upload images, PDFs, or link to YouTube videos. Paid Tier (Gemini Advanced - Ultra): - Subscribe to Google One AI Premium (currently 19.99/month in the US). - This gives you access to Gemini Advanced (Ultra) and deep integration into Gmail, Docs, Slides, and more. On-Device (Android): - On recent Pixel phones (e.g., Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro), you can use Gemini Nano for features like Smart Reply, Recorder summarization, and more. - You can also set the Gemini app as your default assistant on Android. Gemini vs. ChatGPT vs. Copilot: A Quick Comparison Feature Gemini (Google) ChatGPT (OpenAI) Copilot (Microsoft) : : : : Model Gemini Pro / Ultra GPT-3.5 / GPT-4 / GPT-4o GPT-4 / DALL-E 3 Best For Deep Google integration, multimodal tasks, fact-checking Versatility, creative writing, extensive plugins Productivity in Office apps, search integration Multimodal Yes (text, image, audio, video, code) Yes (text, image, audio via GPT-4) Yes (text, image via DALL-E 3) Free Tier Yes (Gemini Pro) Yes (GPT-3.5, limited GPT-4) Yes (GPT-4) Paid Tier 19.99/mo (Google One AI Premium) 20/mo (ChatGPT Plus) 20/mo (Copilot Pro) Search Integration Deep, native Google Search Bing (for paid users browsing) Default Bing search Data Privacy Google's privacy policy OpenAI's privacy policy Microsoft's privacy policy The Bottom Line Gemini is a powerful, multimodal AI assistant that is deeply integrated into the Google ecosystem. It's the best option if you already use Gmail, Docs, and Chrome and want an AI that can understand rich context (images, video, PDFs) and connect to your personal data (email, drive). It is a very strong competitor to ChatGPT, especially in terms of its native multimodal capabilities.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
