Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

For playing The Sims 4, you don't actually need the most expensive, cutting-edge gaming laptop. The game is over a decade old and runs well on modern integrated graphics, but it becomes demanding if you install all the expansion packs (there are over 15) and a lot of Custom Content (CC) or Mods (like WickedWhims or MCCC). Here are the three best categories of gaming laptops for The Sims 4, based on your budget. The "Budget Beast" (Best Value) Perfect for: Playing with 5-10 expansion packs, Max settings, and light CC. Recommended Specs: Ryzen 5 / Intel i5, 16GB RAM, RTX 3050 or 4050. Lenovo LOQ 15 - Why: Best price-to-performance. Great thermals for the price. The Ryzen 7 + RTX 4050 model is a steal. - The Sims Performance: Ultra settings. 80-100 FPS. Acer Nitro V 15 - Why: Often on sale. Handles Sims 4 easily. - Watch out: The battery life is poor, but you'll be plugged in while gaming. The "Mod Lover's Dream" (Mid-Range) Perfect for: All expansion packs, heavy CC (CAS items, build mode), and large save files. Why this is important: The Sims 4 is CPU heavy. The more mods you have, the more you need a fast processor (CPU) and lots of RAM (Memory). ASUS TUF Gaming A16 (2024 model) - Why: AMD Ryzen 7 (7940HS) is one of the fastest CPUs for simulation games. It also has amazing battery life for a gaming laptop. - The Sims Performance: Ultra settings with all packs. Cools well during long building sessions. HP Victus 16 - Why: Solid build, good screen, and often cheaper than the ASUS. Get the version with an AMD Ryzen 7 (Intel i7 also works, but AMD is slightly better for Sims). The "Aesthetic & Overkill" (Premium) Perfect for: You want a beautiful laptop that also runs Sims 4 flawlessly, plus you might play other modern games. Key Feature: High refresh rate screen (120Hz+) and a dedicated RTX 4060 or better. Dell G16 (7630) - Why: A 16-inch QHD+ screen (2560x1600) makes the game look gorgeous. The RGB keyboard is fun for a Simmer. ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 - Why: Small (14-inch), premium metal build, and incredibly powerful. Its portable enough to take to a coffee shop while building houses. - The Sims Performance: Runs the game at 120+ FPS easily. Overkill, but future-proof. Crucial Tips for The Sims 4 on a Laptop: RAM is KING: Do not buy a laptop with 8GB of RAM. You will have crashes with mods. 16GB is the minimum. 32GB is ideal if you have 30GB of CC. Storage: Get a 512GB SSD minimum. A 1TB SSD is better. The Sims 4 with all packs and mods can easily eat up 100GB-200GB of space. Screen Size: 15.6 inches is the sweet spot. 17 inches is heavy. 14 inches is portable but the game UI can feel small. No Touchscreen Needed: Sims 4 is not optimized for touch. A touchscreen adds cost and battery drain. The "Don't Buy" List for Sims 4: Gigabyte G5 (Poor screen and loud fans) MSI Katana GF (Cheap build quality, hinges break) Any laptop with a GTX 1650 (Too old, spend a little more for an RTX 3050) Summary Recommendation Your Situation Best Laptop to Buy : : Budget under 800 Lenovo LOQ 15 (Ryzen 5 + RTX 3050) Lots of Mods & CC ASUS TUF A16 (Ryzen 7 + 16GB RAM) Want the best screen Dell G16 (QHD+ Screen) Portability & Style ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 Final Verdict: Buy the Lenovo LOQ 15 with a Ryzen 5/7 and an RTX 4050. It costs around 750-900 and will run The Sims 4 on Ultra with 50+ mods without breaking a sweat.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
