Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Choosing the right gaming laptop backpack is crucial because you're carrying expensive, heavy, and sometimes fragile gear. It needs to protect your investment while being comfortable enough to haul around campus, to a LAN party, or through an airport. Heres a breakdown of what to look for, followed by specific, highly-rated recommendations. What to Look For in a Gaming Laptop Backpack Dedicated, Padded Laptop Compartment: This is non-negotiable. Look for a "suspended" or "raised" bottom. When you drop the bag, the laptop should not slam into the ground. Size & Fit: Know your laptop's screen size (e.g., 15.6", 17.3", 18") and its chassis dimensions. A 17.3" gaming laptop is significantly wider and thicker than a standard 15.6" ultrabook. Always check the maximum laptop dimensions the bag advertises. Padding & Protection: The bag should have thick, shock-absorbing padding on the bottom, sides, and back. It protects against bumps and drops. Storage for Accessories: You need organized pockets for your power brick (they're huge!), mouse, headset, external drive, cables, and maybe a controller. Comfort: Gaming laptops are heavy (often 5-8 lbs or more). Look for: - Padded, adjustable shoulder straps with a sternum strap (chest strap) to distribute weight. - A padded back panel with ventilation channels to prevent a sweaty back. - A hip belt or waist strap (highly recommended for heavier loads) to take weight off your shoulders. Durability & Weather Resistance: You want a bag made of durable, water-resistant materials. Many come with a built-in rain cover for heavy downpours. Style: Do you want the "tactical gamer" look (lots of straps, RGB-lit) or a more subtle, "professional" look that you can use for work/school? There are great options for both. Top Gaming Laptop Backpack Recommendations (By Category) The Best All-Arounder & Most Popular: Everki ContemPRO Why it's great: This is the gold standard for carrying a full gaming setup. It has a massive, incredibly well-padded top-loading laptop compartment, a "lifespan" warranty (they'll replace it if it wears out), and a "kickstand" design that makes packing and unpacking a breeze. It's more "professional" looking than "gamer." Laptop Size: 15.6" to 18" models available. Best for: Anyone carrying a heavy, 17.3" or 18" gaming laptop, a tablet, a full headset, mouse, and power brick. The most comfortable for heavy loads. Cons: Pricey (around 150-200). Not as many fun "gamer" aesthetic options. The Best Premium & Subtle Option: Timbuk2 Authority Laptop Backpack Deluxe Why it's great: Sleek, minimalist, and built like a tank. Made with durable, weatherproof materials and YKK zippers. The laptop compartment is extremely protective. It doesn't look like a gaming bag at all, so it's perfect for work or travel. Laptop Size: Up to 17". Best for: Gamers who need a professional, high-quality bag for the office or travel and don't want the "tactical" look. Great build quality. Cons: Not as much specific accessory organization for a mouse/headset as some others. Price is high (120-160). The Best Value & Gamer Aesthetic: GTRTHING Tactical Backpack Why it's great: Extremely popular on Amazon for a reason. It offers the most storage and organization for the price (usually under 40). It has a massive main compartment, a dedicated laptop sleeve, and tons of modular pockets for all your gear. The "tactical" style has a lot of webbing and MOLLE straps for customizing. Laptop Size: 15.6", 17.3", 18.4" models available. Best for: Gamers on a budget who need maximum storage and want the "gamer" look. It's a true travel backpack, not just a school bag. Cons: Build quality is decent but not premium (zippers may not be as robust as Everki). Less back padding than high-end options. The Best for Heavy Loads & Back Support: Osprey Nebula / Tropos Why it's great: Osprey makes some of the best technical backpacks in the world. The Nebula and Tropos have excellent airflow, a suspended mesh back panel that keeps your back cool, and a fantastic harness system. They are designed to carry heavy loads (like textbooks or a gaming laptop) in maximum comfort. The Tropos has a built-in kickstand. Laptop Size: Up to 16". Best for: Gamers who prioritize comfort and back health, especially for long walks or standing in line. The airflow is incredible. Cons: Less specific "gaming" organization (no dedicated headset pocket). The laptop compartment is great but not as thickly padded as the Everki. The Most Durable & Feature-Rich: SwissGear Travel Gear ScanSmart Backpack Why it's great: SwissGear is known for durability. The ScanSmart line allows you to lay the bag flat and unzip a dedicated laptop pocket so you don't have to take your laptop out for TSA scans. It has a massive main compartment, plenty of pockets, and a strong, padded back panel. Usually very affordable (60-80). Laptop Size: Up to 17". Best for: Traveling, commuting, and daily use. A reliable, no-frills workhorse that won't break the bank. Cons: The "gamer" aesthetic is minimal. It's more of a standard, rugged travel backpack. Summary Recommendation If you carry a huge 17-18" laptop and all your peripherals: Go with the Everki ContemPRO. It's unbeatable for protection and comfort for heavy loads. If you want the best value for the most storage: Go with GTRTHING. If you need a professional, sleek, high-quality bag: Go with Timbuk2. If comfort and back support are your #1 priority: Go with Osprey. Final Tip: Always check the maximum laptop dimensions listed in the product description (length x width x height) and compare them to your laptop's dimensions. A 15.6" gaming laptop can be much thicker and wider than a standard 15.6" work laptop.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
