Patch 11.0.5 Now Live
Major balance changes to all classes, new dungeon difficulty, and holiday events are now available. Check out the full patch notes for details.
If you're looking for games similar to Ultima Online (UO), you're likely interested in sandbox MMORPGs with deep player freedom, open-ended gameplay, housing, crafting, PvP, and a persistent world. Here are some great alternatives: Albion Online - Why? Full-loot PvP, player-driven economy, classless system (gear defines your role), and territory control. - Platforms: PC, Mobile (cross-platform). Mortal Online 2 - Why? Hardcore sandbox MMORPG with first-person combat, full loot, housing, and a single-shard world. - Platforms: PC. Legends of Aria (formerly Shards Online) - Why? Spiritual successor to UO with open skill progression, housing, and PvP. - Platforms: PC (some private servers keep it alive). Darkfall: Rise of Agon / New Dawn (private servers) - Why? Full-loot FPS-style MMORPG with territory wars, crafting, and naval combat. - Platforms: PC (fan-run servers). Outlands (UO Private Server) - Why? If you want Ultima Online but modernized, Outlands is the best custom UO server with new maps, balanced PvP, and QoL improvements. - Platforms: PC (via ClassicUO or other UO clients). Gloria Victis - Why? Low-fantasy, skill-based combat with territory control and a player-driven economy. - Platforms: PC. Ravendawn (Upcoming) - Why? Inspired by UO and Tibia, with housing, open-world PvP, and a classless system. - Platforms: PC (in development). Ashes of Creation (Upcoming) - Why? Ambitious sandbox MMORPG with node-based world progression, housing, and PvP. - Platforms: PC (still in development). Embers Adrift - Why? Group-focused, old-school MMORPG with slower-paced combat and exploration. - Platforms: PC. Project Gorgon - Why? Quirky, deep skill-based progression with UO-like freedom (but less PvP-focused). - Platforms: PC. Bonus: Single-Player Alternatives If you like UOs world but want a single-player experience: Ultima VII: The Black Gate / Serpent Isle (classic CRPGs by the same creator). The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall (open-ended, procedural world). Kingdom Come: Deliverance (realistic medieval RPG). Would you like recommendations based on a specific aspect of UO (e.g., housing, PvP, crafting)?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
