Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

A game kit is a collection of tools, assets, and sometimes pre-built code designed to help developers create games more efficiently. These kits can vary widely in scope, from simple libraries for handling graphics or physics to full-fledged game engines with built-in editors. Here are some common types of game kits: ### 1. Game Engines (Full Kits) - Unity: A popular engine with a visual editor, scripting (C#), and a vast asset store. - Unreal Engine: Known for high-end graphics, Blueprint visual scripting, and C++ support. - Godot: Open-source, lightweight, with GDScript (Python-like) and C# support. - GameMaker Studio: Great for 2D games with drag-and-drop or GML scripting. ### 2. Frameworks & Libraries (Lightweight Kits) - Phaser (JavaScript): For web-based 2D games. - LibGDX (Java/Kotlin): Cross-platform for mobile/desktop. - SDL/SFML (C++): Low-level libraries for graphics/input. - Pygame (Python): Simple 2D game development. ### 3. Asset Kits - Sprite packs (characters, tilesets). - Sound effects & music (e.g., OpenGameArt.org). - 3D models (Blender, Unity Asset Store). ### 4. Code Templates/Boilerplates - Pre-built projects for genres like platformers, RPGs, or FPS games. - Example: Unitys "2D Platformer Microgame." ### 5. Specialized Tools - Twine: For text-based/interactive fiction games. - RPG Maker: Focused on retro-style JRPGs. ### Choosing a Game Kit: - Skill Level: Beginners may prefer drag-and-drop (GameMaker), while pros might use Unreal/C++. - Platform: Web (Phaser), mobile (Unity), or console/PC (Unreal). - Budget: Some engines are free (Godot), others take royalties (Unreal after 1M revenue). ### DIY Game Kits: Some developers assemble their own "kit" by combining libraries (e.g., OpenGL for graphics + Box2D for physics). Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
