Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! There are tons of fantastic ways to play free games on PC. Heres a comprehensive guide to the best sources, from major platforms to hidden gems. Top Tier: Major Platforms & Stores These are the most popular and reliable sources for free PC games. Steam (Free to Play Section): The Giant: The largest library. Use the "Free to Play" category filter. It includes everything from massive games like Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and Apex Legends to smaller indie titles. Pro Tip: Check the "Special Offers" section for free weekends of paid games and look at user reviews to gauge quality. Epic Games Store: Free Weekly Games: Their killer feature. Every Thursday, they give away 1-2 paid games for free to keep forever. You must claim them within that week. They've given away major titles like Grand Theft Auto V, Civilization VI, and Subnautica. Permanent Free Titles: Also has a selection of free-to-play games like Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys. GOG (Good Old Games): DRM-Free Classics: Occasionally offers free games, often classic or indie titles, to keep forever with no strings attached. They also have a selection of freeware and demos. itch.io: Indie & Experimental Hub: A massive marketplace for independent developers. Thousands of free games, from short experimental art projects and game jam entries to fully-featured, high-quality titles. Great for discovering unique, creative games you won't find anywhere else. Publisher Launchers (Often for Multiplayer) Many major publishers have their own platforms that host their free games. EA App: For Apex Legends, The Sims 4 (base game is now free), and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Ubisoft Connect: For Trackmania, Hyper Scape, and The Division 2 (free trial). Battle.net: For Call of Duty: Warzone and Hearthstone. Classic & Open Source Games Classic PC Games Archive (My Abandonware, etc.): Sites that legally host old games whose copyright has lapsed or are no longer sold. Great for retro gaming. Open Source Games: Community-developed games that are completely free. Examples include: 0 A.D. (Historical real-time strategy) OpenTTD (Transportation simulation) SuperTuxKart (Kart racing) Cloud Gaming Services (Free Tiers) Play high-end games on a low-end PC by streaming them. NVIDIA GeForce Now: Has a free tier (with wait times and 1-hour sessions). You link your existing game libraries from Steam, Epic, etc. Xbox Cloud Gaming (via Game Pass): Requires a Game Pass Ultimate subscription for the full library, but they sometimes offer free play days for specific games. Important Tips & Cautions "Free-to-Play" vs. "Free Games": Free-to-Play (F2P): Designed to be free forever but often have in-game purchases (cosmetics, battle passes, "time-savers"). Examples: Fortnite, Valorant, Genshin Impact. Free Games: Usually a limited-time giveaway of a paid game or a completely free indie title with no monetization. Beware of Shady Websites: Stick to the reputable platforms listed above. Avoid sites that promise "cracks" or "free downloads" of new paid gamesthese are often illegal and bundled with malware. Check System Requirements: Even free games need a PC that can run them. Create Accounts: You'll need accounts for most platforms (Steam, Epic, etc.) to download and play. Great Starter Recommendations (All Free): For Competitive Shooter Fans: Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Apex Legends For Battle Royale: Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone For MOBA/RTS Fans: Dota 2, League of Legends For Something Unique & Social: Rec Room, VRChat For a Deep MMO: Guild Wars 2 (base game is free), Star Wars: The Old Republic For a Chill Experience: Sky: Children of the Light, Fishing Planet Best Strategy: Install the Epic Games Store and claim the weekly free games. Then browse the "Free to Play" section on Steam and explore itch.io for hidden indie gems. That will give you an enormous and diverse library at absolutely no cost. Happy gaming

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
