Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Steam is primarily a digital distribution platform for purchasing and downloading games, so most games on Steam are paid. However, there is a large and excellent selection of completely free-to-play games available. These are not trials or demos, but full games sustained by optional in-game purchases (microtransations, battle passes, cosmetics). Heres how to find them and some top recommendations. How to Find Free Games on Steam: Go to the Steam Store. Click "Games" in the top menu. Hover over "Free to Play" in the dropdown. You can browse or use the "Advanced Search" to filter by genre, player count, etc. Popular & Highly-Rated Free Games on Steam (Various Genres): Shooters (Tactical & Hero-Based) Counter-Strike 2: The definitive tactical shooter, completely free. Competitive 5v5 plant/defuse gameplay. Apex Legends: Fast-paced hero battle royale with unique character abilities and superb movement. Destiny 2: A massive free-to-play MMO-lite shooter. The base game and some core activities are free, with expansions for purchase. Team Fortress 2: The classic hero shooter that's still wildly popular after 15+ years. Warframe: A cooperative third-person shooter where you play as space ninjas (Tenno). Huge, deep game with tons of content. Battle Royale PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS: The game that popularized the genre is now free-to-play. Call of Duty: Warzone: The standalone, free battle royale from the Call of Duty franchise. MOBA & Strategy Dota 2: One of the deepest and most complex competitive games. All heroes are free, revenue is from cosmetics. Teamfight Tactics: Riot's auto-battler set in the League of Legends universe. MMORPG & RPG Genshin Impact: A massive open-world action RPG with gacha mechanics. Beautiful world and story. Lost Ark: A visually stunning, top-down action MMORPG with deep combat and extensive endgame. Path of Exile: Considered the true successor to Diablo II. An incredibly deep and complex action RPG with a fair free-to-play model. Social/Deduction Among Us: The party game of teamwork and betrayal. Goose Goose Duck: An "Among Us-like" but with more roles, mechanics, and chaos. Card Games Magic: The Gathering Arena: The digital version of the classic card game. Marvel Snap: A fast-paced, strategic card battler that's easy to learn but hard to master. Creative/Sandbox The Sims 4 (Base Game): The life simulation classic. The base game is now free, with many paid expansion packs. Rec Room: A social VR/metaverse platform with tons of user-generated games and activities (also playable on flat screen). Other Unique Picks Crab Game: A silly, chaotic game inspired by Squid Game with mini-games. Fishing Planet: A realistic fishing simulator. Important Things to Know: In-Game Purchases: These games are free because they monetize through microtransactions. These are often for cosmetics (skins, outfits), convenience, or battle passes. Some have more aggressive models than others. Always check the store page for details. "Free Weekends" & Demos: Steam also often has "Free Weekends" for paid games, where you can play the full game temporarily. You can also find many free demos for upcoming or indie games. Steam Account Required: You need a free Steam account to download and play any of these. In short: Yes, Steam has a vast library of high-quality free games. You can easily spend hundreds of hours without spending a cent, especially in games like CS2, Dota 2, Apex Legends, Warframe, or Path of Exile*. Just be mindful of the in-game store.

Amazing expansion!

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
