If you're a beginner looking for free game engines to start your game development journey, here are some great options: ### 1. Unity - Best for: 2D & 3D games, cross-platform development. - Pros: - Large community & tutorials. - Supports C# (beginner-friendly). - Asset Store with free assets. - Cons: - New pricing changes (still free for beginners & small studios). - Website: unity.com ### 2. Godot - Best for: 2D & lightweight 3D games. - Pros: - Open-source & completely free. - Uses GDScript (Python-like, easy to learn). - Lightweight & fast. - Cons: - Smaller community than Unity/Unreal. - Website: godotengine.org ### 3. Unreal Engine - Best for: High-end 3D games, photorealistic graphics. - Pros: - Free for learning & small projects (royalties after 1M revenue). - Blueprints (visual scripting, no coding needed). - Best-in-class 3D graphics. - Cons: - Steeper learning curve. - Website: unrealengine.com ### 4. GameMaker Studio (Free Tier) - Best for: 2D games, quick prototyping. - Pros: - Drag-and-drop coding (great for beginners). - Used in hit indie games (Undertale, Hyper Light Drifter). - Cons: - Free version has export limitations. - Website: gamemaker.io ### 5. Construct (Free Tier) - Best for: 2D games, no coding required. - Pros: - Event-based system (no programming needed). - Great for beginners & kids. - Cons: - Limited in free version. - Website: construct.net ### 6. Defold - Best for: 2D & lightweight 3D games. - Pros: - Free & open-source. - Lua scripting (easy to learn). - Backed by King (makers of Candy Crush). - Website: defold.com ### 7. Phaser (JavaScript Framework) - Best for: Web-based 2D games. - Pros: - Free & open-source. - Uses JavaScript (good for web devs). - Cons: - Requires coding knowledge. - Website: phaser.io ### Best Choice for Beginners? - For 2D: Godot or GameMaker (easiest). - For 3D: Unity (most beginner-friendly) or Unreal (if you want high-end graphics). - No coding: Construct or GameMaker (drag & drop). All of these engines have free versions, so try a few to see which one fits your style!

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
