In Wizard101, Fire Spells are known for their high damage-over-time (DoT) effects and strong single-target hits. Fire Wizards excel at dealing consistent damage and can be powerful in both PvE and PvP. Below is a breakdown of Fire spells by level and their key features: Fire Spells by Level (PvE & PvP) (Updated as of latest game version) Starter Spells (Levels 1-10) Firecat (1 Pip) 65-105 damage + 35% chance for 65 Fire DoT (3 rounds) Fire Elf (2 Pips) 65-105 damage + 35 Fire DoT (3 rounds) (Can be enchanted for better damage) Heckhound (4 Pips) 80-120 damage + 40 Fire DoT (3 rounds) (Scales well with Sun enchantments) Mid-Level Spells (Levels 11-50) Meteor Strike (3 Pips) 195-255 damage to all enemies (Great for early AoE) Sunbird (5 Pips) 345-405 damage (Strong single-target hit) Rain of Fire (6 Pips) 100-160 damage + 50 Fire DoT (3 rounds) to all enemies (Solid DoT AoE) Phoenix (7 Pips) 350-410 damage to all enemies (Reliable AoE for mid-game) High-Level Spells (Levels 51-100+) Scorching Scimitars (X Pips) Deals 120 + 60 per Pip to all enemies (Versatile scaling AoE) Fire Dragon (8 Pips) 500-580 damage + 300 Fire DoT (3 rounds) (Classic Fire finisher) Efreet (8 Pips) 600-660 damage, -90% to next enemy attack (PvP staple for weakening opponents) Raging Bull (9 Pips) 750-810 damage + removes one positive charm (PvP & boss fights) Meteor Strike (Upgraded) 390-450 damage (With Epic/Mega Sun enchant) Shadow-Enhanced & Lore Spells Fire From Above (7 Pips + 1 Shadow) 750-810 damage + 300 Fire DoT (3 rounds) (High burst + DoT) Calypsos Boon (Lore Spell) 400 damage + 30% Fire Trap (Utility for Fire teams) Fire School Strengths High DoT Damage Fire spells often deal damage over time, making them great for whittling down enemies. Strong Single-Target & AoE Fire has solid single-target hits (Sunbird, Efreet) and AoE options (Meteor, Scorching Scimitars). PvP Viability Spells like Efreet (-90% next attack) and Raging Bull (removes charms) are PvP staples. Weaknesses Slow Start Early-game Fire lacks strong AoE until Meteor (Lv 22). DoT Reliance Some bosses cleanse DoTs, reducing effectiveness. High Pip Costs Many top spells require 7+ Pips. Best Fire Gear & Strategies Gear: - Early Game: Zeus gear (Mt. Olympus) - Mid-Late: Darkmoor / Dragoon / Merciless gear - Wands: Sky Iron Hasta (free +10% damage) Crafted or pack wands Pets: - Sun Serpent (extra AoE) - Furnace (Fireblade + utility) Strategy Tips: - Stack Fireblade (+35%) + Feint (+70%) for massive hits. - Use DoTs first, then finish with a big hit (Fire Dragon, Bull). - In PvP, Efreet weakens enemies, while Raging Bull removes buffs. Final Verdict Fire Wizards are damage powerhouses with a mix of DoTs and heavy hits. They shine in both PvE and PvP but require smart pip management. If you love burning through enemies with relentless damage, Fire is a great choice! Would you like recommendations for Fire spell setups or PvP strategies?

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
