final fantasy xiv ui
The Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) UI (User Interface) is highly customizable, allowing players to tailor their experience to their playstyle. Heres an overview of its key components and customization options: Default UI Elements FFXIV's UI consists of several key elements: Hotbars (Action Bars) Hold skills, items, and macros (up to 10 hotbars). Party List Displays party members, HP/MP, buffs/debuffs. Target Info Shows enemy HP, cast bars, and debuffs. Minimap Displays nearby points of interest. Chat Log For communication and system messages. Duty List Tracks quests, FATEs, and objectives. Inventory & Character Panel Gear, currency, and items. Cross Hotbar (Controller UI) Radial menu for controllers. UI Customization FFXIV allows extensive UI adjustments via: A. HUD Layout Mode (Esc > HUD Layout or /hudlayout) Move, resize, and hide UI elements. Adjust transparency and scaling. Save different layouts for different jobs. B. System Settings (System > Character Configuration) UI Settings Adjust fonts, colors, and visibility. Hotbar Settings Enable shared hotbars, change input methods. Nameplates Customize player/enemy name displays. Mouse Settings Adjust cursor behavior (e.g., "Legacy" vs. "Standard" movement). C. Advanced UI Options Macros Combine actions into single buttons. Job Gauges Customize job-specific UI elements (e.g., Black Mages Enochian timer). Focus Target Pin an additional target for tracking. Custom Cross Hotbars Optimize controller play. Popular UI Mods & Add-Ons (Unofficial) While FFXIV officially prohibits third-party mods, some players use: Dalamud Plugins (via XIVLauncher): - Simple Tweaks Small UI adjustments. - DelvUI Complete UI overhaul. - Job Bars Enhanced job gauges. ACT (Advanced Combat Tracker) DPS meters and combat logs (use at your own risk). Note: Square Enix discourages mods, and their use can carry risks (e.g., bans in extreme cases). Tips for UI Optimization Use "Hide Unused Hotbars" to reduce clutter. Enable "Target Lock" for better enemy focus. Adjust Party List for healers (larger HP bars, debuff priority). Save Layouts Per Job (e.g., healer vs. DPS setups). Controller Players Use "Expanded Hold Controls" for extra hotbar access. Console vs. PC UI Differences PC More flexible with mouse/keyboard. Controller (Console/PC) Uses cross hotbars; optimized for gamepad play. Need Help? In-game: /uidefault Resets UI to default. For deeper tweaks, check community guides (e.g., YouTube, r/ffxiv). Would you like help with a specific UI element or layout?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
