final fantasy xiv gunbreaker
The Gunbreaker (GNB) is a Tank job in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV), introduced in the Shadowbringers expansion (Patch 5.0). Inspired by Final Fantasy VIII's Squall Leonhart, Gunbreakers wield gunbladeshybrid weapons that function like swords but can also fire aetherically charged shots to enhance attacks. Key Features of Gunbreaker: Tank Role High durability with strong defensive cooldowns. Fast-Paced Rotation More complex than other tanks, with a burst-heavy playstyle. Cartridge System Uses "Cartridges" (max 3) to power special abilities. Continuation Combos Many attacks chain into follow-up skills for fluid combat. Self-Sustain Has healing abilities like Aurora and Heart of Corundum. Gunbreaker Abilities Overview Core Mechanics: Cartridges Generated via Keen Edge combo or Gnashing Fang. No Mercy (2-min burst window) Increases damage by 20% for 20s. Continuation Follow-up attacks after Gnashing Fang or Double Down. Main Combos: Keen Edge Brutal Shell Solid Barrel (generates Cartridges) Gnashing Fang Savage Claw Wicked Talon (spends Cartridges) Demon Slice Demon Slaughter (AoE combo) Defensive Tools: Heart of Corundum (Strong short-CD mitigation + heal) Nebula (30% damage reduction) Camouflage (Parry rate +10%, 10% mitigation) Aurora (Regen on self or ally) Superbolide (Invulnerability, but sets HP to 1) Burst Phase Rotation (No Mercy Window): No Mercy (Activate) Gnashing Fang Continuation Sonic Break (DoT) Double Down (Big damage, spends 2 Cartridges) Burst Strike / Bloodfest (if needed) Pros & Cons of Gunbreaker Pros: High damage output for a tank. Engaging, fast-paced rotation. Strong self-sustain. Stylish animations (gunblade shots, explosions). Cons: More complex than other tanks (PLD, WAR). Reliant on 2-minute burst windows. Superbolide can panic healers if used poorly. Gunbreaker Lore & Unlock Starting Level: 60 (must own Shadowbringers). Unlock Quest: The Makings of a Gunbreaker (Gridania New Gridania, X:11.5 Y:11.9). Job Trainer: Gods Quiver (related to Hrothgar mercenaries). Best Gear & Stats Primary Stat: Strength (STR). Materia Priorities: - Critical Hit (Best for damage) - Direct Hit / Determination (Balanced) - Skill Speed (Only to meet rotation comfort). Final Thoughts Gunbreaker is perfect for players who enjoy high-octane tanking with a DPS-like rotation. If you like FFVIII or aggressive tanking, GNB is a fantastic choice. However, mastering its burst phases and defensive timing is key to excelling. Would you like a detailed opener or advanced rotation breakdown?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
