final fantasy xiv au ra
In Final Fantasy XIV, the Au Ra (pronounced "ow-rah") are a playable race introduced in the Heavensward expansion. They are characterized by their dragon-like features, including scales, horns, and tails, which give them a striking and exotic appearance. Heres a breakdown of their lore and traits: Physical Traits: Horns & Scales: Au Ra have prominent horns and patches of scales on their bodies, with the patterns differing between the two clans. Slender yet Strong: Despite their slim builds, they possess surprising physical strength. Eye Colors: Often have vivid, glowing eyes (common colors include gold, red, and blue). Height: Taller than Hyur but shorter than Elezen, with a noticeable difference between males (taller, bulkier) and females (more petite). Clans: Raen (Eastern-inspired) - Originate from the Far East (Othard, particularly the Azim Steppe and Hingashi). - Generally more peaceful and introspective. - Scales are smoother, with softer horn shapes. Xaela (Mongolian/Nomadic-inspired) - Hail from the Azim Steppe, living in warring tribes. - More aggressive and survival-focused. - Darker scales, jagged or swept-back horns. Lore & Culture: Dragon Connection: While they resemble dragons, their origins are distinct from the Great Wyrm races like Midgardsormr. Some theories suggest ties to the Meracydian dragons, but this remains speculative. Raen: Often integrate into settled societies (e.g., Doma, Kugane). Xaela: Follow tribal customs, with over 50 distinct tribes (e.g., the Dotharl, who believe in reincarnation, or the Mol, who reject violence). Gameplay: Customization: Players can choose horn shapes, scale patterns, and eye glow intensity. Emotes: Unique animations, like a fierce battle stance or a contemplative pose. Fashion: Their horns and tails can clip with certain gear, but many armors are designed to accommodate them. Notable Au Ra NPCs: Hien (Raen): The prince of Doma (Stormblood). Sadu & Cirina (Xaela): Tribal leaders in the Azim Steppe. Yugiri (Raen): A ninja ally in the Post-ARR story. Fun Facts: The name "Au Ra" may derive from "Aura" (suggesting mysticism) or "Au" (gold in chemistry, referencing their scales). Their design was influenced by Yoshitaka Amanos concept art for Final Fantasy draconic beings. Would you like details on a specific aspect, like naming conventions or roleplaying tips?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
