eve online shooter dust 514
Dust 514 was a free-to-play, first-person shooter (FPS) set in the Eve Online universe, developed by CCP Games. It was released in 2013 exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and was notable for its direct connection to Eve Online, allowing for cross-game interactions between FPS players on the ground (Dust 514) and spaceship pilots in space (Eve Online). Key Features of Dust 514: Tied to Eve Online: - Actions in Dust 514 could influence Eve Online battles (e.g., orbital bombardments called in by Eve players). - Corporations (player alliances) in Eve could hire Dust mercenaries to fight for planetary control. Gameplay: - Class-based shooter with infantry, vehicles, and drop suits. - Objective-based battles (capture points, destroy targets). - Permanent consequencesdeath meant losing gear (similar to Eves "lose it all" risk). Economy & Progression: - Players earned ISK (Eves currency) and skill points. - Gear could be bought, lost, or salvaged. Shutdown (2016): - Dust 514 was shut down in 2016 due to declining player numbers and technical limitations (PS3 exclusivity). - CCP planned a successor (Project Nova), but it was canceled in 2020. Legacy & Future: Eve Online still has planetary conquest mechanics, but no direct FPS counterpart exists. Rumors persist about a future Eve-linked shooter, but nothing official has been announced. Would you like details on similar games or Eves current planetary interaction system?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
