eve online reactions
In EVE Online, player reactions can vary widely depending on the situationwhether it's in-game events, developer updates, or community controversies. Here are some common types of reactions seen in the EVE community: In-Game Events & Wars - Large Battles (e.g., "The Bloodbath of B-R5RB"): Players celebrate the chaos, destruction, and emergent storytelling. Reactions range from awe at the scale to memes about lost ISK (in-game currency). - Betrayals & Spies: The community loves dramatic betrayals (e.g., "The Casino War" or "PAPI vs. Goonswarm"). Reactions include shock, admiration for the spycraft, and salt from the victims. - Alliance Collapses: When a major alliance falls (e.g., TEST leaving Delve), reactions are a mix of schadenfreude, nostalgia, and propaganda wars. Developer Updates (CCP Changes) - Positive Changes (e.g., New Content, QoL Improvements): Players cautiously praise CCP but often demand more details or fixes. - Controversial Changes (e.g., Scarcity Era, Industry Overhauls): Heated debates, with some players quitting in protest while others adapt. - Nerfs/Buffs (e.g., Ship Balance Changes): Players whose favorite ships get nerfed rage, while others cheer for meta shifts. Community & Culture - Memes & Propaganda: EVEs community thrives on memes (e.g., "Grath Telkin is recruiting," "This is a scam"). - Scams & Griefing: Some players applaud clever scams (e.g., "The Monoclegate Heist"), while victims (and outsiders) call it toxic. - RL Drama (e.g., Real-Life Threats, Doxxing): The community condemns real-world harassment but sometimes struggles with in-game vs. out-of-game lines. Meta Reactions (Outside the Game) - "EVE is Dying": A perennial memeplayers joke about EVEs demise after every major controversy, even as the game persists. - Spectator Reactions (e.g., Twitch Streams, News Articles): Non-players are often amazed by EVEs depth, while others call it a "spreadsheet simulator." Player vs. Developer Tension - Microtransactions (PLEX, SKINs): Some players hate "pay-to-win" fears, others accept it as necessary. - Server Issues (TiDi, Downtime): Frustration during big battles when the game slows to a crawl (Time Dilation/"TiDi"). - CCPs Communication: Players often criticize CCP for being slow to respond or vague in their plans. Notable Examples of Big Reactions - The Burn of Jita (2012): Players burned the trade hub in protest of CCPs policiesdevs later embraced it as lore. - World War Bee (2016-2021): The massive war between Goonswarm and their enemies led to years of propaganda, memes, and salt. - CCPs "Walking in Stations" Cancellation (2021): Mixed reactionssome disappointed, others glad resources went elsewhere. Conclusion EVE Online thrives on drama, adaptation, and player-driven stories, so reactions are often extreme, creative, and long-lasting. Whether its cheering for an underdog, raging at a betrayal, or debating game changes, the community is never silent. Would you like a deeper dive into a specific event or reaction?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
