eve online ice mining
EVE Online Ice Mining Guide Ice mining in EVE Online is a profitable activity that provides ice products used in fuel block production (for structures and capital ships) and reactions. Heres everything you need to know: Where to Mine Ice High-Security Space (Highsec): - Ice belts appear in specific systems (e.g., Placid, The Forge, Sinq Laison). - Safest but lower yield due to competition. - Check the "Resource Wars" event for temporary boosted ice belts. Low-Security Space (Lowsec): - Less competition but risk of PvP. - Higher yield than highsec. Null-Security Space (Nullsec): - Best yields but dangerous (PvP, bubbles, gate camps). - Sov nullsec alliances often control ice belts. Wormhole Space (C1-C3): - Rare ice sites spawn (e.g., "Ice Field"). - High risk, high reward. Ice Types & Uses Ice Type Refined Product Main Use Glare Crust Heavy Water Fuel Blocks, Reactions Dark Glitter Liquid Ozone Capital Ships, Jump Fuel Gelidus Strontium Clathrates POS Fuel Krystallos Oxygen Isotopes Fuel Blocks, Reactions White Glaze Nitrogen Isotopes Fuel Blocks, Reactions Smooth Glacial Helium Isotopes Fuel Blocks, Reactions Most Valuable (High Demand): Heavy Water, Liquid Ozone, Strontium Clathrates. Check prices in Jita/Amarr before mining. Best Ships for Ice Mining Highsec / Lowsec: Venture (T1 Frigate) Fast, cheap, 2 ice mining lasers. Procurer / Skiff (T1/T2 Barge) Tanky, good yield. Endurance (T2 Ice Mining Frigate) Fast, cloakable, 2 lasers. Nullsec / Wormholes: Mackinaw (T2 Exhumer) Best yield, but expensive. Orca / Rorqual (Boosts + Fleet Mining) For organized groups. Ice Mining Mechanics Ice Harvesters (Mining Lasers) take 60 seconds per cycle (unlike ore mining). Yield per cycle: - Venture: 1 unit per laser (2 total) - Procurer: 1 unit per laser (2 total, but tankier) - Mackinaw: 2 units per laser (4 total) Ice Belts Respawn: Every 4 hours in highsec, faster in nullsec. Tips for Efficient Ice Mining Use Ice Harvesters II for best yield. Fit a Survey Scanner to check ice quantities. Watch for gankers (especially in highsec). Join a mining fleet with boosts (Orca/Rorqual). Use a hauler alt (or compression if available). Sell to fuel block producers for best profit. Profitability Highsec: 5-10M ISK/hour (depends on demand). Nullsec: 20-50M ISK/hour (with boosts & better ice). Wormholes: Risky but can be very profitable. Final Notes Ice mining is afk-friendly but risky in low/nullsec. Check local chat and D-scan for hostiles. Consider training Exhumers for better efficiency. Would you like a specific fit for your ship?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
