Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

That's an excellent question, because the situation with Epic Games stock is not straightforward. Heres a clear breakdown: The Short Answer: You Cannot Buy Epic Games Stock on a Public Exchange. Epic Games is a privately held company. It is not listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) or NASDAQ. This means its shares are not available for the general public to buy and sell. Why Is Epic Games Still Private? Epic's CEO and founder, Tim Sweeney, controls the company and has repeatedly stated his desire to remain independent and avoid the pressures of quarterly earnings reports that come with being a public company. Remaining private allows Epic to make long-term, often costly bets (like its legal battle with Apple or heavy investment in the metaverse) without shareholder scrutiny. Who Owns Epic Games? Ownership is split among a few key players: Tim Sweeney: The founder and CEO is the majority controlling shareholder. Tencent: The Chinese technology and gaming conglomerate owns a significant minority stake (approximately 40%). They invested 330 million in 2012. Sony & Kirkbi (Lego's parent company): In 2022, they jointly invested 2 billion to acquire a minority stake, valuing Epic at roughly 31.5 billion. This was a strategic partnership focused on the future of the metaverse. Other Investors: Over the years, other firms like KKR have also acquired small minority stakes. How Can Someone Invest in Epic Games? For the vast majority of people, you can't directly invest. Access to private company shares is typically limited to: Large Institutional Investors (like venture capital firms, private equity). Wealthy Accredited Investors. Strategic Partners (like Sony, Tencent, Lego). Occasionally, very small amounts of private stock may be traded on specialized platforms (like Forge Global or EquityZen), but these opportunities are rare, illiquid, and restricted to accredited investors. What About the Future? Will Epic Games Ever Go Public (IPO)? While Tim Sweeney has consistently said he wants to avoid an IPO, things can change. The company's massive investments (Unreal Engine, Fortnite, Epic Games Store, legal battles) require enormous capital. If Epic needs to raise a huge amount of money that private markets can't provide, an IPO could become a possibility. However, there are no announcements or indications that this is happening anytime soon. How to Get Indirect Exposure to Epic Games' Success If you believe in Epic's ecosystem, you can invest in its publicly traded partners and owners: Sony (SONY): A major investor and partner in the metaverse vision. Tencent (TCEHY): Holds a large minority stake. (Note: Investing in Chinese ADRs carries specific risks). Companies that benefit from the Unreal Engine: For example, NVIDIA (NVDA) whose chips power advanced gaming and metaverse development. Key Takeaway: There is no "EPIC" ticker to buy. Epic Games is a private company controlled by its founder, with significant investments from Tencent, Sony, and Lego. For now, the only way for regular investors to be involved is indirectly through its partners. Always do your own research or consult with a financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
