Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course. Epic Games is a privately-held company, but it regularly releases reports and shares data, particularly around its flagship product, Fortnite, and its digital storefront, the Epic Games Store (EGS). Heres a breakdown of the key types of reports and notable data points from Epic Games: Epic Games Store Transparency Reports This is the most consistent and data-rich reporting Epic provides. Released yearly, these detail the performance of the Epic Games Store. Key Metrics Typically Included: Users: Total PC users (e.g., over 230 million in 2023). Daily Active Users (DAU): Peak concurrent users. Third-Party PC Game Revenue: The amount spent by players on non-Epic games. Number of New PC Releases: How many games were published on EGS. Free Games Program: Total number of free games claimed (over 586 million in 2022) and total user savings. Developer Payouts: The total amount Epic has paid to developers (over 2 billion since launch through 2023). The Core Message: These reports are designed to show the store's growth and argue for the viability of its 88%/12% revenue split (compared to Steam's 70%/30%). Fortnite & Unreal Engine Ecosystem Reports While less formal, Epic frequently announces major milestones, especially related to Fortnite and its creator ecosystem. Fortnite: Player Count: Has reported over 350 million registered accounts (as of 2020). Specific monthly active user (MAU) numbers are now less common but are in the hundreds of millions. Cultural Events: Reports viewership for in-game concerts (Travis Scott, Ariana Grande) and experiences (like the Fortnite OG season return). Creator Economy Payouts: Epic has paid out over 2 billion to creators using Fortnite's creative tools (Islands, etc.) since the program's inception. Unreal Engine: Adoption: Reports on the number of developers and studios using the engine across games, film, and other industries. Financial Results for Developers: Announced that games built on Unreal Engine have generated over 1 billion in revenue on EGS alone. Financial & Legal Disclosures (Through Court Documents) Because Epic is private, detailed financials are scarce. The most revealing data came from the 2021 Epic vs. Apple trial. Documents revealed: Fortnite Revenue: Earned over 9 billion in its first two years (2018-2019). Epic Games Store Strategy: The store operated at a significant loss (over 300 million in 2019) to gain market share, with plans to become profitable by 2023-2024. This included minimum revenue guarantees to secure exclusive games. User Acquisition Cost: Epic spent heavily on free games to attract users. Security & Privacy Transparency Reports Epic publishes a Bi-Annual Transparency Report detailing requests from governments and law enforcement for user data, following the trend of major tech companies. Where to Find These Reports Epic Games Newsroom: The primary source for official announcements. Epic Games Store Transparency Report Page: A dedicated section on their website. Legal Filings: The Epic vs. Apple and vs. Google trial documents are public. Summary of Notable Recent Data (as of late 2023/early 2024) Epic Games Store has 230 million PC users. Players have claimed over 2.6 billion free games on EGS since launch. Developers have earned over 2 billion from the EGS. *Fortnite creator ecosystem payouts total over 2 billion. Unreal Engine is a dominant force in AAA game development and is rapidly expanding in film/TV. Epic's reporting is strategically focused on demonstrating the growth and health of its store and creator ecosystems, which are central to its challenge against established platforms and its vision for the "metaverse."

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
