You're likely referring to Tim Sweeney, the founder and CEO of Epic Games. Heres a quick breakdown: Tim Sweeney is the majority owner and controlling shareholder. He founded Epic Games (originally Potomac Computer Systems) in 1991 in his parents' basement. While he is the face and driving force, Epic Games has taken on significant outside investment. The most notable outside investor is Tencent, a Chinese multinational conglomerate. In 2012, Tencent acquired approximately 40% of Epic's shares, making it a major minority stakeholder. This investment was for partnership and growth, not control. Other minority investors include Sony (which invested 1 billion in 2021 and another 200 million in 2022) and Kirkbi (the family holding company behind LEGO), which invested 1 billion in 2022. In summary: Epic Games is primarily owned and controlled by its founder, Tim Sweeney. Tencent is the largest minority shareholder, with other strategic investors like Sony and Kirkbi holding smaller stakes.

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
