epic games keeps opening edge
That's a common and annoying issue! Epic Games Launcher is set by default to open certain links (like the news feed, store pages, or support articles) in your default web browser, which is often Microsoft Edge. Here are the ways to fix it, from simplest to most effective: The Direct Fix: Change the Setting in Epic Launcher This is the most likely solution. Open the Epic Games Launcher. Click your profile icon in the top right corner. Go to Settings (near the bottom). Scroll down to the MANAGE GAMES section. Look for a setting called "Web Browser" or "Use Epic Games Browser". If you see "Use Epic Games Browser", make sure it's UNCHECKED. This forces links to open in your system's default browser. If you see a dropdown for "Web Browser", select your preferred browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox) from the list. The System Fix: Change Your Default Browser Since Epic often defers to the system's default, make sure your preferred browser is set correctly. Windows 10/11: Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps. Find "Web browser" and click to change it to Chrome, Firefox, etc. Make it Stick: Windows can be aggressive about resetting Edge as the default. After changing it, you may get a prompt from Edge asking to set it back. Be sure to decline. The Nuclear Option: Repair or Reinstall If the setting isn't there or doesn't work, the Epic Launcher installation might be corrupted. In the Epic Launcher Settings, scroll to the very bottom. Click "Repair" under the Troubleshooting section. This will fix the installation without deleting your games. If repairing doesn't work, uninstall and then reinstall the Epic Games Launcher from the official website. The Workaround: Disable Edge (Advanced) Warning: This is a system-level change and can have unintended consequences. Only do this if you are comfortable and never use Edge. You can disable Microsoft Edge from running via Group Policy, Registry edits, or using third-party tools like "EdgeDeflector." However, this can break features in Windows that rely on Edge's engine. Not generally recommended for most users. Most Likely Culprit: The issue is almost always #1 (the in-client setting) or #2 (Windows resetting your default browser to Edge after an update). Start with Step 1. If the setting isn't there or doesn't work, proceed to Step 2. That should resolve the problem for the vast majority of users.

Venture into the depths of Azeroth itself in this groundbreaking expansion. Face new threats emerging from the planet's core, explore mysterious underground realms, and uncover secrets that will reshape your understanding of the Warcraft universe forever.
The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
