epic games 0 mbps
This is a common and frustrating issue with the Epic Games Launcher. A reported download speed of 0 Mbps usually means the launcher is stuck, not that your internet is broken. Heres a comprehensive guide to fix it. Immediate "Quick Fixes" (Try These First) These solve the problem 80% of the time. Pause and Resume: Click the pause button on the download, wait 10 seconds, then resume it. Limit Your Bandwidth (Trick): Go to Settings (gear icon) > Bandwidth. Check the box for "Limit Bandwidth". Set a low limit (like 1 Mbps or 1000 Kbps). Apply. Wait a few seconds, then uncheck the box and remove the limit. This often "kicks" the download back into gear. Restart the Epic Games Launcher Completely: Right-click the Epic icon in your system tray (bottom-right) and choose Exit. Relaunch it as an administrator (right-click the shortcut > Run as administrator). Restart Your Router/Modem: Unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This clears your network cache. Advanced Troubleshooting (If Quick Fixes Fail) Change Your DNS Server Sometimes your ISP's default DNS can cause issues with Epic's servers. Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings. Right-click your active connection (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) > Properties. Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click Properties. Choose "Use the following DNS server addresses": Preferred: 8.8.8.8 Alternate: 8.8.4.4 (These are Google's public DNS servers) Click OK. Restart your PC for changes to take full effect. Disable IPv6 (A Very Common Fix) The Epic Launcher sometimes has conflicts with IPv6. In the same Network Adapter Properties window as above. Uncheck the box for "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)". Click OK and restart your PC. Flush Your DNS Cache & Reset Network This clears corrupted local network data. Open Command Prompt as Administrator. Type these commands, pressing Enter after each: ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew netsh winsock reset Restart your PC. Configure Epic Games Launcher Settings In the launcher, go to Settings. Under Manage Games, find the option for "Throttle Downloads" and make sure it's OFF. Also, try changing your Download Region (in Settings > Bandwidth) to a location geographically closer to you. Allow Epic Through Your Firewall & Antivirus Your security software might be blocking it. Temporarily disable your antivirus/firewall (Windows Defender, etc.) to see if it's the cause. If it works, add exceptions for: EpicGamesLauncher.exe The folder where games are installed (default: C:Program FilesEpic Games). Clear the Epic Games Launcher Cache Corrupted cache files can cause this. Exit the Epic Launcher completely (from system tray). Navigate to this folder on your PC: C:Users[YOURUSERNAME]AppDataLocalEpicGamesLauncherSaved * (To find it quickly, press Win + R, type %localappdata%, and press Enter). Delete the folder named webcache or webcache_xxxx. Restart the launcher. Last Resort Solutions Reinstall the Epic Games Launcher Uninstall it via Control Panel > Programs and Features. Go to C:Program Files (x86)Epic Games and delete any remaining Launcher folder. Also clear the %localappdata% and %appdata% folders for Epic Games (as shown in step 6 above). Download the fresh installer from the Epic Games website and install it as an administrator. Contact Your ISP In rare cases, your Internet Service Provider might be throttling or blocking connections to Epic's CDN (Content Delivery Network). You can mention this to them. What's Most Likely Working? The combination of Pause/Resume + Bandwidth Limit Trick + Disabling IPv6 fixes the vast majority of "0 Mbps" issues. Start with the quick fixes, then move down the list. One of these steps will almost certainly get your downloads moving again.

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
