emperors in the new world
The term "New World" typically refers to the Americas, which were "discovered" by Europeans in the late 15th century. However, before European colonization, the Americas were home to powerful indigenous empires with rulers often referred to as emperors or kings. Here are some of the most notable pre-Columbian emperors and their empires: Aztec Empire (Mexico) The Tlatoani (Emperors) - Moctezuma I (14401469) Expanded the Aztec Empire significantly. - Moctezuma II (15021520) Ruled during the Spanish conquest; famously encountered Hernán Cortés. - Cuitláhuac (1520) Briefly ruled after Moctezuma II and resisted the Spanish. - Cuauhtémoc (15201525) Last Aztec emperor, executed by the Spanish. Inca Empire (Andes) The Sapa Inca (Emperors) - Pachacuti (14381471) Transformed the Inca into a vast empire. - Huayna Capac (14931527) Expanded the empire to its greatest extent before European contact. - Atahualpa (15321533) Captured and executed by Francisco Pizarro. - Manco Inca (15331544) Led Inca resistance against the Spanish. Maya Civilization (Mesoamerica) Kings (Ajaw) - While the Maya had city-states rather than a single empire, some powerful rulers acted like emperors: - Jasaw Chan K'awiil I (682734 CE, Tikal) Led Tikal to dominance. - K'inich Janaab' Pakal (615683 CE, Palenque) Famous for his elaborate tomb. Other Notable Indigenous Rulers - Túpac Amaru II (17421781) A descendant of Inca royalty who led a major rebellion against Spanish rule. Post-Colonial "Emperors" in the New World - Agustín de Iturbide (18221823) Briefly declared himself Emperor of Mexico after independence. - Maximilian I of Mexico (18641867) A Habsburg archduke installed by France as Emperor of Mexico. Would you like more details on any of these rulers or empires?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
