In Dungeons & Dragons Online (DDO), soloing effectively depends on a mix of survivability, self-healing, damage output, and versatility. Here are the best solo classes (and builds) for a smooth experience: Paladin (Knight of the Chalice / Sacred Defender) - Why? High survivability, self-healing (Lay on Hands, Cure spells), strong melee DPS, and great saves. - Best Race: Human (extra feat) or Aasimar (healing amp). - Key Features: Heavy armor, immunities, and strong single-target damage. Barbarian (Frenzied Berserker) - Why? Massive damage output, high HP, and decent self-sustain with Blood Tribute (temp HP). - Best Race: Half-Orc (extra damage) or Dwarf (tankiness). - Key Features: Rage boosts, fast movement, and cleave attacks for mobs. Artificer (Battle Engineer) - Why? Ranged DPS with a pet (Iron Defender), trapsmithing, self-healing (Repair spells), and buffs. - Best Race: Warforged (self-repair synergy) or Gnome (better casting). - Key Features: Runearm + crossbow, great for kiting and soloing traps. Warlock (Enlightened Spirit / Soul Eater) - Why? Ranged/AoE damage, temp HP (Shroud of the Abyss), and self-healing (Eldritch Burst + Utterdark Blast). - Best Race: Tiefling (fire bonuses) or Aasimar (healing amp). - Key Features: Almost no spell point issues, great for clearing groups. Cleric (Warpriest / Radiant Servant) - Why? Strong heals, buffs, and decent melee (with Divine Might). - Best Race: Dwarf (tanky) or Aasimar (better healing). - Key Features: Can wear heavy armor, self-resurrection (Death Pact), and strong undead-killing. Rogue (Mechanic / Assassin) - Why? Trap skills, evasion, and high single-target DPS (sneak attacks). - Best Race: Halfling (sneak bonuses) or Elf (better ranged). - Key Features: Can solo traps and pick locks, but squishy in melee. Druid (Natures Warrior / Seasons Herald) - Why? Versatile with animal form (Wolf/Bear for melee), self-heals, and summons. - Best Race: Human (extra feat) or Wood Elf (Wisdom bonus). - Key Features: Strong AoE spells (Call Lightning) and tanky in bear form. Best Multiclass Options for Solo: Paladin 18 / Warlock 2 (for temp HP & Eldritch Blast utility) Barbarian 15 / Fighter 5 (extra feats & DPS) Artificer 12 / Rogue 6 / Fighter 2 (versatile ranged/trapper) Final Tip: Self-healing is keyPaladin, Warlock, and Artificer excel here. Avoid pure casters (Wizard/Sorcerer) unless you know how to manage squishiness. Gear matters! Get healing amp, lifesteal, and resistance items. Would you like a specific build for one of these?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
