The Dungeons & Dragons franchise saw several releases and developments in 1991, including tabletop RPG products, video games, and other media. Here are some key highlights from that year: Tabletop RPG (TSR Releases) AD&D 2nd Edition Supplements: - "The Complete Thief's Handbook" A detailed guide for Thief characters, part of the Player's Handbook Reference Series. - "The Complete Book of Dwarves" Expanded rules and lore for Dwarven characters. - "Van Richten's Guide to Vampires" A Ravenloft sourcebook focusing on undead lore. - "The Ruins of Undermountain" A massive dungeon-crawl adventure set beneath Waterdeep. Dragonlance & Other Settings: - "Dragonlance: Tales of the Lance" A boxed set expanding the Dragonlance campaign setting. - "Ravenloft: Realm of Terror" The official launch of the Ravenloft campaign setting as its own world. Modules & Adventures: - "The City of Skulls" (DL16) A Dragonlance adventure. - "The Doomgrinder" (WG12) A Greyhawk adventure. Video Games "Dungeons & Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun" (1991, Sega Genesis) A turn-based RPG set in the Mystara campaign setting. "Eye of the Beholder" (1991, PC) A classic dungeon-crawler released by SSI, based on AD&D rules. Other Media The Dungeons & Dragons animated series had ended years earlier (1985), but reruns and VHS releases kept it somewhat relevant. The franchise was still under TSR's control (before Wizards of the Coast acquired it in 1997). Legacy 1991 was part of the peak of AD&D 2nd Edition, with TSR releasing numerous supplements and expanding its campaign worlds. The video games of this era, particularly Eye of the Beholder, helped bring D&D to a wider digital audience. Would you like details on a specific product or aspect of D&D in 1991?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
