Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Here is a curated list of drama anime, ranging from gut-wrenching tragedies to emotional family sagas and tense psychological thrillers. I have categorized them by "flavor" of drama to help you find exactly what you are looking for. The "Ultimate Tearjerkers" (Prepare tissues) These shows are famous for their tragic, emotional, and often bittersweet stories. Clannad: After Story: This is the gold standard for emotional devastation. The first season (Clannad) sets up charming high school relationships, but After Story follows the protagonist into adulthood. It deals with family, marriage, loss, and the pain of growing up. It is beautiful, but absolutely crushing. Your Lie in April: A story about a piano prodigy who has lost his ability to hear the notes after his mothers death. He meets a free-spirited violinist who drags him back into the world of music. It is visually stunning, filled with classical music, and has a famously tragic ending. Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day: A group of childhood friends has drifted apart after the death of one of their own, Menma. Years later, Menma's ghost appears to the main character, asking him to grant her wish so she can "pass on." The entire show is about processing grief, guilt, and rekindling lost friendships. Violet Evergarden: A former child soldier struggles to reintegrate into society after a devastating war. She becomes an "Auto Memory Doll," a ghostwriter for people who cannot express their emotions in letters. Episode 10 is widely considered one of the most heartbreaking episodes in all of anime. The "Emotional Rollercoaster" (Romance & Melodrama) These shows mix romance with high-stakes personal conflict and emotional twists. Fruits Basket (2019): A soft-spoken orphan, Tohru Honda, ends up living with the mysterious Sohma family, who are cursed to turn into animals of the Chinese Zodiac when hugged by the opposite sex. This show masterfully blends comedy with deep, devastating drama about abuse, generational trauma, and the bonds of family. March Comes in Like a Lion: A melancholic and deeply introspective story about Rei Kiriyama, a 17-year-old professional shogi (Japanese chess) player. He suffers from severe depression and isolation. The drama is internal and relies on the support of a warm, loving family of three sisters. It is a masterpiece of "healing" drama. Scum's Wish: This is not for the faint of heart. It is a raw, painful, and realistic look at teenage love. Two high school students form a relationship not because they love each other, but because they are in love with other people who don't love them back. It explores themes of loneliness, desperation, and using other people to fill a void. A Silent Voice: A former bully seeks redemption with the deaf girl he tormented in elementary school. This film is a powerful, mature, and incredibly well-animated story about social anxiety, disability, forgiveness, and the long-term consequences of cruelty. The "Family & Societal Drama" (Slice of Life with High Stakes) These shows focus on family dynamics, social pressure, and personal growth. Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju: This is a masterpiece of adult drama. It spans decades, following a yakuza member who is released from prison and becomes obsessed with the dying art of rakugo (traditional Japanese storytelling). The story explores themes of obsession, love, betrayal, the relationship between art and the artist, and the changing of time. It is slow, deliberate, and incredibly rewarding. The Garden of Words: A 45-minute film about a 15-year-old aspiring shoemaker and a 27-year-old woman who feels trapped in her life. They meet in a garden on rainy mornings. The drama comes from their age gap, their loneliness, and the societal pressure they face. Beautiful, melancholic, and perfectly paced. Honey and Clover: A classic coming-of-age drama set in an art college. It follows a group of friends and the complicated, unrequited loves that consume them. It captures the anxiety of graduation, the uncertainty of the future, and the intensity of youthful passion. Erased: A mystery-thriller with a heavy emotional core. The main character has the ability to "go back" in time to prevent disasters. When his mother is murdered, he is sent back to elementary school to solve a series of child abductions. The drama is centered on saving a classmate from an abusive home life and stopping a serial killer. The "Dark & Psychological" (Tense, Twisted, & Unforgettable) These dramas rely on intellectual tension, moral dilemmas, and psychological warfare. Monster: Widely considered one of the greatest anime of all time. A brilliant brain surgeon in 1980s Germany saves the life of a young boy, only to discover years later that the boy grew up to be a ruthless, manipulative serial killer. The doctor must now track down the monster he created. It is a slow-burn thriller with incredible characters and deep themes about good vs. evil. Death Parade: When two people die at the same time, they are sent to a mysterious bar where a white-haired bartender forces them to play a game (darts, bowling, etc.) with deadly stakes. The game reveals their true nature, and the "drama" is the psychological breakdown of each character. It explores morality, judgment, and the human condition. Paranoia Agent: A psychological horror-drama from the creator of Perfect Blue. A mysterious assailant called "Lil' Slugger" begins attacking people with a golden baseball bat. The show follows the interconnected stories of the victims, the detectives hunting him, and the slow unraveling of reality. It is a commentary on modern society, anxiety, and escapism. Where to Start? My Top 5 Picks for a "Drama" Lover: For a Masterpiece: Monster (Thriller/Psychological) For the Ultimate Cry: Clannad: After Story (Tragic/Heartwarming) For a Healing Story: March Comes in Like a Lion (Slice of Life/Depression) For a Mature Romance: Fruits Basket (2019) (Family/Supernatural) For a Beautiful Tragedy: Your Lie in April (Music/Romance) A Note on "Teen Drama": If you are looking for high school shows like Euphoria or Gossip Girl, anime has those too, but they are often more focused on hyperbolic melodrama. For that, check out: Kaguya-sama: Love is War (Comedy/Drama) School-Live! (Psychological/Horror/Slice of Life) Kuzu no Honkai (Scum's Wish) (Realistic/Dark) Myself; Yourself (Tragic/Sequel-heavy)

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
