As of my latest knowledge, Lance Reddick, the original voice actor for Commander Zavala in Destiny 2, passed away in March 2023. Bungie has not yet officially announced a permanent replacement for the role. However, Keith David, a highly respected actor known for roles in Halo, The Thing, and Community, was revealed in August 2023 as the new voice of Zavala in The Final Shape expansion and beyond. Key Details: Lance Reddick voiced Zavala from Destiny 1 (2014) until his passing in 2023. Keith David took over starting with The Final Shape (2024). The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
