Original Perks (Pre-Sunset): Intrinsic Perk: Precision Frame (180 RPM, high stability) Magazine Perk: Accurized Rounds / Drop Mag / etc. Trait 1: Zen Moment (Increased stability on hits) Trait 2 (Signature Perk): Magnificent Howl - Precision hits increase damage for the next shot (stacking up to 2x). - After Beyond Light, this perk was reworked to be less dominant in PvP. Current Status (Post-Sunset & Reissue): Luna's Howl was sunset (power-capped) in Beyond Light but was later reissued with updated perks. It can now drop from Banshee-44 (Gunsmith) or as a random world drop. New Possible Perks (Random Rolls): - Trait Column 1: Outlaw, Rapid Hit, Heating Up, etc. - Trait Column 2: Kill Clip, Rampage, Eye of the Storm, etc. - No longer has Magnificent Howl in its original form. How to Get It Now: Random Drops: Check Banshee-44, world engrams, or Crucible matches. Xur: Occasionally sells it (check his inventory weekly). Dares of Eternity: Sometimes appears in the loot pool. Is It Still Good? PvP: Still decent, but outclassed by newer 140 RPM HCs (like Ace of Spades, Hawkmoon, or Palindrome). PvE: Outshined by better PvE hand cannons (Fatebringer, Zaoulis Bane, etc.). The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
