Destiny 2 features a rich and diverse art style that blends sci-fi, fantasy, and post-apocalyptic aesthetics. Here are some key aspects of its art direction: Visual Themes & Influences Sci-Fi Meets Fantasy: Destiny 2 combines futuristic technology with mystical, almost medieval fantasy elements (e.g., space-faring knights, arcane powers, and alien ruins). Neon & Grit: The game contrasts vibrant neon lighting (especially in locations like Neomuna on Neptune) with rugged, battle-worn environments (e.g., the EDZ or Moon). Alien Architecture: Each enemy faction has distinct designs: - Vex: Geometric, robotic structures with a liquid-metal aesthetic. - Hive: Gothic, chitinous, and organic with a dark, ritualistic feel. - Fallen: Scavenged, jagged, and asymmetrical tech. - Cabal: Brutalist military-industrial design. - Taken: Shadowy, corrupted versions of other enemies. Iconic Locations The Tower (Last City): A futuristic stronghold with warm, golden tones. Dreaming City (Awoken): Ethereal, glowing blue architecture with swirling cosmic energy. Europa (Beyond Light): Frozen wasteland with Clovis Brays stark, sci-fi facilities. Savathûns Throne World (The Witch Queen): A mix of Hive grotesquery and regal, moth-like elegance. Neomuna (Lightfall): Cyberpunk-inspired city with holograms and sleek, angular designs. Armor & Weapon Design Guardian Armor: Ranges from sleek futuristic suits (Future War Cult) to rugged, post-apocalyptic gear (Devastation Complex). Exotic Weapons & Gear: Often feature intricate lore-inspired designs (e.g., Thorns cursed aesthetic, Outbreak Perfecteds SIVA nanotech look). Shader System: Allows deep customization with metallic, matte, and iridescent finishes. Artistic Evolution From Destiny 1 to Destiny 2: The sequel refined textures, lighting, and environmental details, making worlds feel more alive. Expansions Introduce New Styles: Each DLC brings fresh aesthetics (e.g., Shadowkeeps lunar horror, Beyond Lights icy BrayTech labs). Concept Art & Artists Bungies art team, including Isaac Hannaford, Jaime Jones, and Dorje Bellbrook, has created stunning concept pieces that shape the games look. Official concept art often features in Destiny lore books and promotional material. Where to Find Destiny 2 Art ArtStation: Many Bungie artists share their work there. Bungies Official Website & Social Media: They often release high-quality wallpapers. Destiny Art Books: The Art of Destiny (Vol. 1 & 2) showcase the games development. Would you like recommendations for specific artists or wallpapers?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
