As of my last knowledge update in June 2024, Destiny 2 has not officially announced a sixth subclass. Currently, the game features five subclasses, each tied to a different elemental damage type: Solar (Fire) Focused on burns, healing, and explosions. Arc (Lightning) Emphasizes speed, chaining damage, and melee abilities. Void (Dark Energy) Centered around suppression, debuffs, and overshields. Stasis (Ice/Darkness) Introduced in Beyond Light, focusing on freezing and crowd control. Strand (Psychic/Unraveling) Added in Lightfall, with grappling, suspending enemies, and thread-based abilities. Rumors & Speculation on a 6th Subclass Some players speculate that a potential sixth subclass could be "Resonance" (or another Darkness-based power), possibly tied to The Final Shape or future expansions. Bungie has been expanding Darkness subclasses (Stasis, Strand), so a third Darkness element could complete the trio (opposing Solar, Arc, Void). Leaks and datamines have occasionally hinted at new abilities, but nothing has been confirmed. When Could It Arrive? The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
