Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Of course! Here is a comprehensive strategy guide for Demeo, covering fundamentals, advanced tactics, and hero-specific advice for both PvE and PvP (Demeo Battles). Core Philosophy: Demeo is a Team Game Stick Together: This is the #1 rule. Being more than 4-5 squares apart splits enemy aggro, makes you vulnerable to ambushes, and makes healing/reviving nearly impossible. Action Economy is Everything: Every action (move, attack, card play) is precious. Plan your turn to maximize value. Sometimes moving into a better position is better than a weak attack. Control the Board: It's not just about killing. Use slows, roots, and positioning (like chokepoints) to limit how many enemies can attack you each round. Communication: If playing with others, talk! Call out your plans, warn of dangers, and coordinate card combos. General PvE (Adventure) Strategy Exploration & Map Awareness Move as a Blob: Clear rooms together before opening new doors. Have a tankier character or summon open chests/door levers in case of traps. Listen for Audio Cues: You can hear enemy types (gurgles, growls, mechanical sounds) and chests before you see them. Use the Mini-Map: It shows enemy icons (red dots) and points of interest. A cluster of red dots often means an elite enemy or a spawner. Fountain Management: Don't rush to heal minor damage. Save fountains for when multiple heroes are badly wounded or to remove serious debuffs (like Poison or Burn). Combat Priorities Always target in this general order: Spawners (Roots, Cocoons, Totems): They create endless enemies. Destroy them immediately. Ranged & Casters (Goblins, Sorcerers, Eye of Corruption): They deal damage without putting themselves at risk. Take them out to reduce incoming damage. Elites & Champions: They have powerful abilities and high health. Focus fire as a team. Melee Bruisers: They have to walk to you. You can often kite or control them. Small Swarms: Clean them up last with area-of-effect (AoE) attacks. Card & Resource Management Don't Hoard, but Don't Waste: Use powerful cards (like Fireball or Ballista) on key opportunities (clustered enemies, elites). Using a Health Potion to heal 5 damage is often a waste. Passing is Okay: If you can't get in range for a good attack, passing your turn to draw a card is often the smart play. More cards = more options. Inventory Sharing: You can drop cards and potions for allies. Give a Speed Potion to the Guardian to reach a spawner, or a Poison Flask to the Assassin. Know Key Cards: Lamp of Darkness: The single best utility card. Creates safe darkness for you, blocks enemy ranged line-of-sight, and can be used to isolate enemies. Mimic: Incredibly versatile. Use it on enemy spawners, fountains, or even friendly totems/ballistas to double your value. Ballista: Your best friend for boss fights and tough elites. Place it in a safe, elevated spot. Hero-Specific Roles & Tips Guardian (Tank/Control): Role: Frontline anchor. Creates chokepoints with Barricades. Draws aggro. Tip: Use Challenge shout to protect allies. Your spear throw is great for finishing low-health ranged enemies. Save Shield Block for big hits. Assassin (Burst Damage/Scout): Role: Eliminate high-value targets. Scout ahead in stealth. Tip: Poison is your best friend. Apply it, then use Backstab or Quick Shot for massive damage. Use Smoke Bomb to save yourself or an ally, not just for damage. Sorcerer (Area Damage/Control): Role: Crowd control and AoE clear. Master of elements. Tip: Combo elements! Freeze enemies, then shatter them with Arcane Lightning. Fireball is for groups, not single targets. Use Gust to push enemies into pits or away from your team. Hunter (Ranged Damage/Utility): Role: Sustained ranged damage, pet management, and traps. Tip: Your pet is a tank and a scout. Send it to trigger traps or block doors. Use Multi-Shot on groups. Root Trap is fantastic for controlling elites or guarding a corridor. Warlock (Summoner/Hexer): Role: Overwhelm with summons, apply debilitating curses. Tip: Skeletons are disposable shields and damage. Summon them in front of your team. Curse on elites/bosses drastically reduces their threat. Fear can break enemy formations. Bard (Support/Buffer): Role: Healer, buffer, and action-economy engine. Tip: Your songs are persistent auras. Place them strategically where the fight will happen. Ballad of Bravery (damage boost) is usually the best opener. Use Lute Smash to finish weak enemies and preserve cards. Boss Fight Strategy Clear the Room First: Before activating the boss, clear all minor enemies in the chamber if possible. Control Adds: Bosses spawn minions. Have a plan (AoE, hunter pet, guardian barricades) to handle them so your team can focus the boss. Use the Environment: Take cover behind pillars, walls, and elevated platforms to avoid line-of-sight attacks. Focus Fire: All attacks should be on the boss unless overwhelmed by adds. Save Your Big Cards: This is the time for Ballistas, Fountains, Empowered spells, and all your potions. PvP (Demeo Battles) Strategy The fundamentals change dramatically. It's a tactical duel. Composition is Key: A balanced team is vital (e.g., Damage, Support, Control). Two of the same hero is often a disadvantage. Level & Card Advantage: Farming neutral monsters early game to level up and get more cards is crucial. Don't engage the enemy team until you have an advantage or are forced to. Objective Focus: Play the objective! Capture and hold points, escort the payload. Kills alone rarely win the game. Target Focus: Just like PvE, focus the same target with your team. Burning down one enemy hero quickly creates a 4v3 advantage. Positioning is Everything: Stay in cover, use high ground, and never over-extend. A lone hero is a dead hero. Know Your Enemy: Watch what heroes the opponent has and predict their tactics. Are they saving for a big combo? Where is their Assassin likely hiding? Card Denial: If you kill an enemy hero, they drop their inventory. You can pick up and discard their cards to permanently remove them from the match. Final Pro-Tips The "Danger Square": Never end your turn on a square adjacent to an unexplored door or in the open within line-of-sight of multiple enemies. Pit is a Weapon: Gust, Challenge, and other knockbacks can instantly kill most enemies by throwing them into pits. You Can Run: Some encounters are too dangerous. It's okay to fall back to a chokepoint you've already cleared. Remember: Demeo is about clever tactics, not just brute force. Think, plan, work as a unit, and you'll conquer the depths. Good luck

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
