deadeye guild wars 2
In Guild Wars 2, Deadeye is an elite specialization for the Thief profession, introduced in the Path of Fire expansion. It focuses on long-range combat, stealth, and single-target assassination using a rifle as its new weapon. Key Features of the Deadeye: Rifle as a New Weapon The Deadeye gains access to the rifle, offering high burst damage from range with abilities like: - Kneel (F1) Enter a stationary stance for enhanced rifle skills. - Deaths Judgment (Sniper Shot) A powerful, high-damage stealth attack. - Three-Round Burst Rapid shots for sustained damage. Mark System (F1 Mark) The Deadeye can mark a target, gaining bonuses like Initiative regeneration, Stealth, and increased damage when attacking that enemy. Malice Mechanic The Deadeye builds Malice stacks (up to 5) while attacking a marked target, increasing the power of their stealth attack (Deaths Judgment). Stealth & Sustain The Deadeye has strong access to stealth (via Shadow Meld, Shadow Gust, or Silent Scope) and can sustain itself with Maleficent Seven (grants full Initiative when reaching max Malice). Utility Skills Cantrips & Deceptions - Mercy Revive allies from range. - Shadow Flare AoE damage and blindness. - Binding Shadow Immobilize enemies. - Shadow Gust Knockback and stealth. Elite Skill Deaths Retreat A backward dodge that fires a high-damage shot. Playstyles: Power Rifle Deadeye High burst damage from range, ideal for PvP and open-world PvE. Condition Deadeye (Dagger/Dagger or Pistol/Dagger) Uses Maleficent Seven for high poison and bleed uptime. PvE Raid/Fractal DPS Can be strong in single-target encounters (though often outshined by Daredevil in group content). Pros & Cons: Strong single-target damage Great range & burst potential Good self-sustain with stealth Lacks AoE and mobility Reliant on positioning (Kneel makes you immobile) Less meta in group PvE compared to Daredevil Recommended Traits (Power Rifle Build Example): Deadly Arts (III Revealed Training) Critical Strikes (I Twin Fangs, XI No Quarter) Deadeye (I Silent Scope, II Be Quick or Be Killed, III Maleficent Seven) Gear Suggestions: Berserker (Power/Precision/Ferocity) for maximum burst. Marauder (if needing more survivability). Would you like a specific build for PvP, WvW, or PvE?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
