Fantasy MMORPG PvE Raids Guilds

Finding the absolute cheapest gaming laptop that can actually play modern games is tricky. Below 500, you are usually buying a "productivity" laptop with bad integrated graphics. The "cheapest" that is worth your money starts around 600 - 750 during sales. Here is the breakdown of the cheapest gaming laptops that are worth buying right now, categorized by budget. The "Cheapest New" Champion: Acer Nitro V 15 Price: Usually 699 - 749 (Often on sale for 649) Why it's the best: This is the cheapest laptop that offers a "real" gaming graphics card (GPU) that is fast enough for modern games. Key Specs: Intel i5-13420H, NVIDIA RTX 4050, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD. Performance: You can play Fortnite, Valorant, Apex Legends, GTA V at high settings. You can play Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty, Starfield at medium settings (with DLSS on). The Catch: The screen is dim (250 nits), the battery life is terrible (2 hours gaming), and 8GB RAM is not enoughyou will need to add another 8GB stick (25 upgrade). Bottom Line: If you can only spend 700, buy this one. The "Cheapest Premium" Alternative: Lenovo LOQ 15 Price: Usually 749 - 799 (Often on sale for 699) Why it's better than the Acer: It has better build quality (less plastic flex) and a better keyboard than the Acer Nitro. Key Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS or Intel i5-13420H, RTX 3050 or RTX 4050. Warning: Be careful to buy the RTX 4050 version. The RTX 3050 is much slower and should be avoided unless it is under 600. The Catch: The 1080p screen is 60Hz (slower refresh rate) on the cheapest models. The "Absolute Floor" (Avoid if possible): HP Victus 15 Price: 599 - 699 Why it's risky: This is often the cheapest laptop with an RTX 3050. The Problem: The hinges break easily. The screen has terrible response times (50ms), meaning fast games look blurry. The cooling is poor, so it gets hot and loud. When to buy this: Only if you find it for 500 or less and you are willing to treat it very gently. Do not pay 700 for this. The "Cheapest but Used/Refurbished" (Best Value) Price: 450 - 600 What to look for: A used laptop with an RTX 3060 (not 3050). Why: The RTX 3060 is significantly faster than the RTX 3050 and close to the RTX 4050. Examples: Lenovo Legion 5 (2021/2022), Dell G15 (Ryzen Edition), ASUS ROG Strix G15. Where to find them: eBay, Best Buy Open Box, r/hardwareswap. The "Do Not Buy" List (Cheap Traps) Avoid these laptops even if they are 400500. They have "gaming" in the name but cannot run games. Any laptop with Intel UHD / Iris Xe graphics only. (No RTX, no GTX, no Radeon RX). Any laptop with "AMD Radeon Graphics" (without a separate number). (e.g., Ryzen 5 5500U with integrated graphics). Any laptop with a GTX 1650. This card is very old (2019) and struggles with new games. Acer Aspire 5 / Dell Inspiron with "Gaming" in the title. These are just marketing scams. Final Recommendation If you have exactly 700: Buy the Acer Nitro V 15 (RTX 4050) . If you have exactly 500: Do not buy new. Save up to 650 or buy a used Lenovo Legion 5 with an RTX 3060 online. If you must buy for 400: Buy a used Xbox Series S or Playstation 5 instead. You will get much better gaming performance for the money than any laptop at that price.

Great raids, some bugs

The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
