blade souls like game
If you're looking for a soulslike game with a strong focus on blade-based combat, here are some great options that emphasize precise melee combat, challenging encounters, and deep weapon customization: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (Best for Blade-Centric Combat) - Developer: FromSoftware - Why Play? Focuses on katana duels, deflection-based combat, and posture-breaking mechanics. - Unique Feature: No stamina barinstead, aggression and parrying are key. - Similar to Souls? Faster, more rhythm-based combat than Dark Souls. Nioh & Nioh 2 (Weapon Variety + Deep Combat) - Developer: Team Ninja - Why Play? Offers katanas, dual swords, odachis, and more with a stance-based combat system. - Unique Feature: Loot-driven mechanics (like Diablo) with stamina (Ki) management. Lies of P (Soulslike with Blade Weapons) - Developer: Neowiz - Why Play? Features a steampunk twist with a variety of swords, daggers, and customizable weapons. - Unique Feature: Weapon assembly system (blade + handle combos). Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty (Fast-Paced Swordplay + Parry Focus) - Developer: Team Ninja - Why Play? Similar to Nioh but with Chinese martial arts and deflect-heavy combat. - Unique Feature: Morale system affects difficulty dynamically. Thymesia (Short but Intense Blade Combat) - Developer: OverBorder Studio - Why Play? Fast, claw-and-sword combat with plague-based abilities. - Unique Feature: Focus on saber attacks and dodging. Steelrising (Soulslike with Rapier & Elegant Combat) - Developer: Spiders - Why Play? French Revolution setting with quick, precise blade combat. - Unique Feature: Less punishing than traditional Soulslikes. Mortal Shell (Methodical Swordplay) - Developer: Cold Symmetry - Why Play? Heavy, deliberate combat with unique hardening mechanic. - Blade Options: Hallowed Sword, Martyrs Blade, etc. Elden Ring (If You Want Open-World + Swords Galore) - Developer: FromSoftware - Why Play? Massive weapon variety (katanas, greatswords, curved swords). - Unique Feature: Open-world exploration with deep build customization. Upcoming Blade-Centric Soulslikes: Black Myth: Wukong (2024) Staff/spear combat. Project: The Perceiver Wuxia-inspired swordplay. Final Recommendation: For pure blade mastery: Sekiro (deflection) or Nioh 2 (weapon variety). For a Soulslike with customization: Lies of P or Elden Ring. For fast-paced action: Wo Long or Thymesia. Would you like recommendations based on a specific weapon style (e.g., katanas, rapiers, greatswords)?

The War Within brings so much fresh content to WoW. The new zones are absolutely stunning and the storyline is engaging. Been playing for 15 years and this expansion reignited my passion for the game.
The new raid content is fantastic with challenging mechanics. However, there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out. Overall a solid expansion that keeps me coming back for more.
